VO2 Max Training/Interval Training From a lens of health, the data are unambiguous— VO2 max is highly correlated with longevity The best protocol I use with my clients I first learnt from Dr. Peter Attia. It’s known as 4 x 4 x 4 4 minutes of the near maximal highest intensity sustained exercise (running, cycling, rowing or swimming) Followed by 4 minutes of recovery Repeat this 4 times It’s that simple Session last around 40 minutes with a warm up and a cool down.
