RAINBOW WASHING: CORPORATE ACTIVISM SUPPORT #PRIDE365 In the era of social media and heightened political awareness, companies are increasingly expected to take a stand on societal issues. This trend has led to a rise in corporate activism, where businesses publicly support various causes, including LGBTQ+ rights. However, this practice has also given rise to a phenomenon known as "Rainbow Washing." Rainbow Washing refers to the practice of corporations using rainbow symbolism or LGBTQ+ themes, particularly during Pride Month, without necessarily implementing policies that support the LGBTQ+ community.
