Exciting developments are underway in neom, Saudi Arabia with "The Line," a visionary project spanning 170 kilometers and preserving 95% of Neom's natural beauty. Envisioned to stretch from the Red Sea to Tabuk, The Line aims to accommodate nine million residents with a unique population density, surpassing global benchmarks. The city's innovative design features two mirrored buildings, creating an expansive outdoor space, with plans for it to be powered entirely by renewable energy.
The ambitious plan includes three layers: one for pedestrians, another underground for infrastructure, and a third underground layer for transportation. Artificial intelligence will play a crucial role in monitoring the city, utilizing predictive models to enhance daily life. Notably, residents will be incentivized for contributing data to The Line.
With an estimated building cost ranging from $100-200 billion, The Line is poised to become a landmark project, potentially influencing the skyline as the country's third tallest building. The Saudi government projects substantial economic benefits, including the creation of 460,000 jobs, economic diversification, and a significant contribution to the domestic GDP by 2030.
Neom is envisioned as a hub for innovation, technology, and sustainable living, with focus on various aspects of industries and other sectors.
