Santa Fe Dehumidifiers Nikki Krueger what a great day to be alive! (Did you make this day up, or is it a real thing)?
I have owned two Thermastor Santa Fe Dehumidifiers, each of which saw only about 15 months max operating time each year. Given all the great HVAC technicians in my area, it has been impossible for me to find anybody willing to fix these dehumidifiers and on the one or two rare occasions where I could find somebody willing, I was always told it wasn't worth it due to the labor cost. In both cases the dehumidifiers were out of warranty (time vs operating hours of course) and I was offered replacements at a "discounted price". The most recent one is in pristine condition but has an oil leak underneath the defrost coil. Same options: no one willing to repair, discounted prices on more dehumidifiers that will probably break in a few years. Will be avoiding this company's products in the future.
