Practice firework safety by keeping a source of water nearby, do not relight faulty fireworks, and do not allow children to light or hold fireworks. Our offices will be closed on July 4th to allow our team members the opportunity to spend time with their family and friends. #SafetyTuesday

Happy independence day! We hope you enjoy your holiday. Our offices will be closed and reopen Monday July 8. In the meantime here are five firework safety tips for children: ADULT SUPERVISION: Always have an adult supervise when using fireworks. Children should never handle fireworks on their own. SAFE DISTANCE: Keep a safe distance from where fireworks are being set off. Ensure there is a clear area around the launch site to avoid accidents. USE SPARKLERS SAFELY: If children are using sparklers, make sure they hold them at arm's length and stay away from others. Teach them not to run with sparklers or wave them near other people. WEAR PROTECTIVE GEAR: Ensure children wear protective eyewear and clothing that covers their skin to prevent burns or injuries from sparks or debris. FIREWORKS DISPOSAL: After the fireworks have been used, douse them with water before disposing of them to prevent accidental fires or burns from still-hot remnants. #CMFCAACares #ForTheKids #Fireworks

Celebrating #FourthOfJuly with fireworks? 🎆 Keep your family safe with these must-know firework safety tips! ⚠️ Keep a Safe Distance: To help prevent accidents, create a specific area for lighting fireworks, far from homes, trees, and any flammable materials. Ensure spectators are at least 25 feet away for small fireworks and 100 feet for larger ones. 👀 Adult Supervision Only: Kids are naturally curious, so make sure they are never allowed to handle fireworks. Sparklers can burn at 2,000 degrees, hot enough to melt some metals! Keep a close eye on them and designate an adult to be in charge of lighting all fireworks. 🧯 Have Safety Equipment Ready: Always have a bucket of water, a hose, or a fire extinguisher nearby in case of emergencies. After the fireworks are done, douse the used ones in water to prevent accidental fires. Stay safe and enjoy the celebrations!

As we celebrate this 4th of July, let's keep safety a priority! With the recent fires we've seen, it's more important than ever to practice firework safety. Here are some tips to ensure a fun and safe celebration for everyone: Keep a Safe Distance: Always light fireworks away from buildings, trees, and flammable materials. Supervise Children: Never let children handle fireworks. Sparklers can be just as dangerous as larger fireworks. Use a Flat Surface: Light fireworks on a flat, stable surface to prevent them from tipping over. Keep Water Nearby: Have a bucket of water or a hose ready in case of an emergency. Dispose Properly: Soak used fireworks in water before disposing of them in a trash can. Follow Local Laws: Make sure fireworks are legal in your area and follow local guidelines. Never Relight Duds: If a firework doesn't go off, don't try to relight it. Wait 20 minutes and then soak it in water. Stay safe and enjoy the celebrations! 🎇✨ #FireworkSafety #4thOfJuly #StaySafe #CommunityFirst #PeerlessRestoration
