Solid tumor research and cancer care involve the study and treatment of cancerous tumors that arise from solid tissues, such as organs, glands, and tissues. This encompasses various types of cancer, including: 1. Carcinomas (e.g., breast, lung, colon, prostate) 2. Sarcomas (e.g., osteosarcoma, soft tissue sarcoma) 3. Lymphomas (e.g., Hodgkin lymphoma, non-Hodgkin lymphoma) Research in solid tumor biology and cancer care focuses on: 1. Understanding cancer genetics and genomics 2. Identifying biomarkers for early detection and diagnosis 3. Developing targeted therapies and immunotherapies 4. Improving radiation and surgical treatments 5. Enhancing patient outcomes and quality of life Some of the key areas of research include: 1. Tumor microenvironment and angiogenesis 2. Cancer stem cell biology 3. Epigenetics and gene regulation 4. Immune-oncology and checkpoint inhibitors 5. Nanoparticle-based drug delivery and imaging The goal of solid tumor research and cancer care is to advance the understanding of cancer biology and to develop innovative and effective treatments for patients with solid tumors. Be our guest at #ASCO24 #ONCOLOGY
At #ASCO24, our #oncology team will be onsite showcasing our expanding solid tumor research and commitment to transforming cancer care. Stop by booth 23093 to learn more.
