Change Agent, Servant-Leader, Strategic Advisor, Systems Engineer, Consortia Member @ QED-C | Quantum Ecosystem, Data Hog/Connoisseur, Aspiring Prompt Engineer
Reliance on the GPS satellite navigation network leaves military operations vulnerable to jamming, spoofing, and geographical blocking. 💡 What if quantum sensors could be used to supply precise information on a vehicle’s position? Such a system would be less prone to interference, and less likely to degrade over time (unlike exisiting mechanical or electrical systems). 🌐🔒 Q-CTRL will apply their expertise in this sphere to a critical defense mission for Australia. Their collaboration within AUKUS demonstrates the potential of quantum sensing to upgrade defense capabilities and showcases Australia's deep-tech capabilities.

Final input regarding the 𝗦𝗜𝗞 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 comes from our valuable consultant, Ioannis Giannopoulos: “I started getting involved in the testing process of the MIMS C2 product during its implementation into the SIK Program. Having already a remarkable “hands-on” experience on other national and NATO C2 systems, such as the ERIEYE AEW&C, and the NATO ACCS Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) systems my input was valuable. MIMS C2 is a modern system capable of generating a Common Tactical Picture (CTP) by incorporating data from organic sensors and exchanging information over data links with external units and systems. Its open system architecture enables it to interface with current and future systems such as the AIS and the future AIS, known as the VHF Data Exchange System (VDES), as well as the ADS-B, and the next generation ATC system known as the Wide Area Multilateration (WAM). End-users can rely on MIMS C2 for enhancing their Battlespace Situation Awareness (BSA) and cope with current and emerging threats securing their national airspace, by digitally controlling several effectors such as fighter aircraft and surface-to-air missiles”. We are excited to have shared the perspectives of some key contributors, highlighting this transformative initiative's ongoing success and impact. #SCYTALYS #Interoperability #SIKProject #NationalDataLinks

NATO's Allied Command Transformation has partnered with Latvia to test the country's 5G military test bed for defense applications. This October, the Ādaži test bed, which is the first of its kind in Europe, will be evaluated in a second operational experiment. The event will feature virtual and augmented reality, unmanned vehicles, sensors, and applications within a tactical 5G bubble. NATO's digital transformation plan aims to enhance situational awareness and facilitate data-driven decisions, allowing for multi-domain missions and interoperability across all sectors by 2030. As civilian 5G operations continue to rise, this partnership highlights the advantages the technology can provide to the armed forces. #5g

Referring to the definition of "win" from dictionary.com, I want to reflect on the recent Iranian attacks on Israel on April 14th. Definition: to gain the victory; overcome an adversary It has taken me several days to fully grasp the significant impact of such an attack, while also considering my emotions and thoughts. First, let's examine the numbers provided by the U.S. State Department: - The attacks originated from Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Syria, and Yemen. - They involved over 110 medium-range ballistic missiles, 30 land-attack cruise missiles, and 150 aerial vehicles (drones). Results: - The Israeli Air Force, aided by the Iron Dome, David's Sling, and Patriot Defense System, performed impeccably. - The United States intercepted over 80 drones and at least 6 ballistic missiles. - Out of the 300+ objects fired, only 5 projectiles hit Israeli territory. - None of the 150+ launched drones breached Israeli airspace. - There were no major damages or loss of life. Analyzing these figures, it's clear that the Israeli air defense systems effectively fulfilled their purpose. Furthermore, the formation of a coalition to safeguard Israel was of great significance. However, do these successes warrant labeling it as a win for Israel? I firmly believe that the word "win" accurately characterizes these actions. Israel not only prevailed over an adversary but did so decisively. They exerted dominance, with crucial support from their partners in the region. These results signify a significant victory and a momentous stride toward cooperation in the region. Furthermore, with the backing of its constituents, Israeli Air Defense systems intercepted close to 99% of all incoming projectiles—a staggering achievement that undoubtedly led to a winning result. Moreover, it's noteworthy that Israeli territory sustained no major physical damage. In sports, "a win is a win". Although the concept of victory in conflict is not always as clear-cut as in sports "a win is a win" still applies to the outcome of this attack. A win is a win! #OSINT #Investigations #Win #Geopolitics
