So WHEN is #Qantas going to bring back Classic Rewards for Business Class? There are billions of points “waiting in the wings”. Doing a search across the next 11 months will provide you an answer of Ziltch / Zero. This substantial problem is not going to go away and will need to be dealt with and addressed at some point. It’s the classic WHO, WHAT, WHEN, HOW and WHY of marketing. Qantas customers want to know the answer to WHEN.
We’re big in Japan! Yesterday marked the beginning of Qantas’ new Tokyo schedule, which has doubled in size from 14 to 28 services per week: - Tokyo (Haneda) to Sydney double daily - Tokyo (Narita) to Melbourne daily - Tokyo (Narita) to Brisbane daily Qantas now offers four daily flights from Tokyo to Australia and is the only airline flying to Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane – with the option of day time or night time flights to and from Sydney. A big shoutout to Florence Chan and her team in Tokyo for supporting the significant increase in operations across two major airports as well as Ryuta Nakayama and his team for working closely with our corporate, trade and tourism partners to support this growth. An Etihad Airways flight from Abu Dhabi to New York arrived at JFK Airport on Monday heralding the start of the airline’s A380 service. The A380 features The Residence, the three-room suite in the sky.
