🔹 Helping organizations address the three critical components of culture: Leadership, performance, inclusion 🔹Delivering tools, training, and coaching that enable a shift in mindset fueling sustainable results 🔹B2B
“There is an undeniable connection between the relationship you have with yourself and the relationship you have with another. If you cannot see yourself, then you will certainly struggle to see another well. This is why the cultivation of self-awareness is critical not only for those seeking a fulfilling life, but also for anyone who understands the value of appreciating the perspective of another.” -Yung Pueblo This quote captures so much of what I learned when experiencing Outward Inclusion; Self awareness is the key that unlocks understanding, belonging, and collaboration. In this upcoming webinar, Desmond will dive into similar topics, and more importantly, take time to answer your most pressing questions!

Tech & Thrive Founder | Leadership & Executive Coach | CIO Advisor | Public Speaker | Latina in Tech —>Liberator of Tech Pros and Orgs who want to fully unleash their potential to thrive.
It’s not often that I come across an opportunity that speaks directly to my soul for creating opportunities for schools and workplaces to be places where inclusion and belonging for everyone is not just a bullet in a strategic plan but part of the fabric and culture that form their foundation. If you are wondering how to move the needle on your own awareness of the issues and or elevate your understanding of how you can suppport your institutions this looks like a great opportunity. https://lnkd.in/e9u8zske
I just finished reading a WSJ article entitled "The Rise and Fall of the Chief Diversity Officer" that explains the decrease in hiring of Chief Diversity Officer positions in many Companies, especially since 2020. We are not seeing that trend in #Indyschools. If anything, our schools are creating teams and offices to support the entire school (staff, faculty, parents, and students) in fostering belonging, equity, and inclusion. ASSOCIATION OF DELAWARE VALLEY INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS is excited about our 2nd Cohort to develop Anti-racist Leaders. Sign Up Today! https://lnkd.in/eeQhg8m9

Ex-Recruiter & Hiring Manager | Award Winning Job Strategy Expert (resume, LinkedIn, interviewing, & salary negotiation) | ATS Systems | AI | Networking | DEIB Consulting I ERG Strategies | Female LGBTQ owned biz
Today Megan Snodgrass and I completed our second day walking WGU leaders through an exercise to capture their strategic goals for the next two years. Every ERG has its own autonomy and serve their community in different ways. Now they know exactly what they want to focus and and they have a parking lot of future ideas. We also walked the leaders through what's in it for them professionally when they volunteer to lead an ERG and how to use that exact information to drive volunteerism for their various leadership positions. Lastly, we talked about how critical intersectionality is and that we are ALL BETTER TOGETHER! Thanks Javonda Quinn Thanks WGU for tow AMAZING days!!!!! #erg #brg #employeeresourcegroups #businessresourcegroups If you lead an ERG or Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team and want to learn more, click the link in the comments to book some time.

Analysing Braverman's tenure underscores a critical realisation: having a diverse figurehead doesn't automatically translate to diverse thinking. True diversity encompasses a spectrum of perspectives, not just a diverse outward appearance. Leadership should champion inclusivity of thought, valuing varied insights and experiences. It's about fostering an environment where diverse voices are not just present but actively heard and considered. Let's move beyond surface-level diversity to cultivate a culture that genuinely embraces diverse thinking. #DiversityandInclusion #LeadershipInsights #InclusiveThinking #suellabraverman

Since we’re turning to pride month, let’s talk about the difference between equality and equity. Because it is often confused and used interchangeably, yet these two concepts have a firm difference. In the words of Paycom DEI Sr Manager AJ Dronkers (he/him/his) … Equality is “everybody gets shoes”. EQUITY is “everybody gets shoes IN THEIR SIZE.” This concept/topic comes up in almost EVERY leadership development course I facilitate. How are you demonstrating and incorporating DEI into your facilitation?
