SUMMER IS THE IDEAL TIME FOR BROADENING OUR HORIZONS When the world around us slows down a bit, the new horizons get closer. Whether it is visiting a new place, meeting new people, or learning new perspectives on our daily matters. Thanks to the invitation from The Karman Project and Saïd Business School, University of Oxford to join the Oxford Smart Space MBA, I will have a chance to experience all three this summer. The most exciting part is that it means collaborating with 9 inspirational space leaders from all around the world Kevin Ramirez, Agnieszka Lukaszczyk, PhD, Mary M. Murphy, PMP, Fani Kallianou de Jong, Mahhad Nayyer, Shawna Pandya, MD, Raffaele Mauro, Melania Guerra, Ph.D., Olayinka Fagbemiro, as well as with business professionals from the #Oxford #MBA. Professionals with a rich variety of backgrounds within and outside the space sector - a perfect mix for broadening our horizons and enriching them with some "outside" perspective. Because there is no such thing as too much cross-fertilization between sectors.

🎓 Excited to share that it's been a month since I embarked on my Masters journey in Business Analytics at DePaul University! 🚀 Reflecting on this whirlwind month, I've had the privilege to dive into a plethora of enriching experiences: networking events, career conferences, coaching sessions, and engaging activities galore. 🌟 Transitioning to a new culture and managing everything independently has been incredibly challenging, but the lessons learned have been invaluable. Here are a few key takeaways: 1️⃣ Cultural Adaptability: Embracing a new culture isn't just about understanding customs and traditions—it's about being open-minded, adaptable, and respectful. Each interaction has been an opportunity to learn and grow, broadening my perspectives in ways I never imagined. 2️⃣ Building Bridges: Making new friends in a new environment requires courage, empathy, and genuine interest. From coffee chats to group study sessions, every connection has taught me the importance of stepping out of my comfort zone and forging meaningful relationships. 3️⃣ Independence & Resilience: Managing life away from family has underscored the significance of independence and resilience. From navigating daily chores to tackling academic challenges, every hurdle has been a chance to hone my problem-solving skills and foster self-reliance. As I continue this journey, I'm grateful for the opportunities, the friendships forged, and the invaluable lessons learned along the way.
