what if the new brand/product you want to launch in the US in 2024 is meant for the trade (modifiers for ex.) rather than the end-consumer?
- find a compliance company to do the import for you (Park Street, MHW etc...)
- choose a Direct To Trade solution (the main that comes to mind is https://libdib.com/ but i am sure there are others)
- use social media to identify in your target state(s) who the key bartenders/spirits managers/bev dirs are
- interact with them, get them to taste your stuff, have they come over to see your operation, come to meet them at their spot, make friends
- schedule market-visits to do trade master-classes
- identify some local key players in the industry who would be into helping out evangelize
- be patient
It will act as proof of concept when time is right to move to the three tier system.
Note: this mostly work for 2024 as it will be a tough year in the US for the W&S business AND for one who has a small amount of skus to focus on
