To celebrate National Safety Month this June, we asked our leaders why safety is personal to them. Here’s what our Vice President of Human Resources for Schwan’s Global Supply Chain Taber Rigg had to say. As a husband and as a father of five children, Taber said he leads each day at work with safety so he can return home and be his best self. #SafetyIsPersonal

President & CEO, Maryland Transportation Builders & Materials Association | Providing a Voice for Maryland/Metropolitan Transportation Construction Industry
I had an enlightening discussion this week with MD LT Governor about the pressing need to address transportation and work zone safety in our region. One takeaway was clear: we need to take a page out of Delaware's playbook and introduce our version of "Wally, the Work Zone Warrior." This program has shown its effectiveness in promoting safety awareness, respecting signage, and ensuring workers and commuters are safe in and around our work zones. "Wally" isn't just a mascot but a symbol of the importance we place on the lives of our workers and citizens. Let's bring the spirit of "Wally, the Work Zone Warrior" to our streets and ensure that safety is at the heart of our development. Remember, we're not just constructing roads and buildings but also shaping the future of our communities. Safety is an integral part of that. #WorkZoneSafety #WallyTheWarrior"

At Ardent Mills, safety isn’t just a priority – it’s one of our core values. As we honor National Safety Month this June, we’d like to highlight a few ways our team is continuing to make safety a priority for our customers, our customers’ customers and our employees. 1. Continuous improvement: We routinely analyze our safety programs and policies for opportunities to improve. 3. An empowered team: We encourage our team members to take ownership of their personal safety and the safety of their coworkers. Through this partnership, we create a safer environment for all.
