The 2018 Decero Cabernet Sauvignon has classic notes of cassis and some cherry and red fruit flavors with fresh acidity. The wine has supple integrated tannins, from 14 months in French oak barrels. A medium-bodied, elegant style of Cabernet Sauvignon. Great wine and it’s priced at around $16.99 depending on where you get it. I highly recommend this wine. Look what showed up in the mail this week. We almost forgot about these! Awarded in November 2022 at the San Francisco Internation Wine Competition - America's oldest and most prestigious wine competition. Here are the wines and how they rated: 2019 Heritage Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon (Rutherford) - Gold 2019 Stagecoach Cabernet Franc - Gold 2019 Signature Release Cabernet Sauvignon (Rutherford) - Silver 2019 Cuvée no. 4 Napa Valley Red Wine - Silver 2019 Limited Release Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon - Bronze 2021 Morgaen Lee Sauvignon Blanc - Bronze Wine competitions are a point in time and rate a wine, in our case, in its youth. These wines grow, evolve, and develop with time. They get better and ratings set a benchmark of where their starting point. They establish how they taste relative in wines in their price point and class before they start their evolution. Rartings are tangible. They give the consumer something by which to compare; however, they are not indicative of how good the wine gets with time. We know these wines will continue to evolve and develop, that's how they are made, and we are proud to have these medals as our stating point the each wine's journey. So order a few bottles andcsee for yourself. Unfortunately, most of these wines are sold out, but send us a message and maybe we can find a few bottles lying around! #wine #winemaking #ratings #medals

Unraveling the Enigma of Wine! 🍷Maturing wines is no easy feat, as only a chosen few undergo an elegant transformation with time. It's crucial to bear in mind that a 50-year-old bottle doesn't qualify as an 'archive' wine unless it has been flawlessly preserved, often within the official vaults of the winery. Attempting to age an ordinary, everyday wine serves little purpose. Only a relatively small selection of wines boasts the potential for a noteworthy aging process. Consequently, only a handful of wines will authentically evolve in bottles over time. The question remains: Do you opt to store your wines in the cellar or uncork them right after the journey? #writetous #winevocabulary #WineAgingSecrets #CellaringConundrum #WineraPerspectives #UncorkOrCellar

Most definitely a Cabernet Sauvignon with ample character and personality. This wine has a beautiful, concentrated ruby red coloring and intense aromas of plum, cassis and blueberries, which combine gracefully with softer earthy traces and end with hints of mocha and smoke. A full, complex and intense palate with persistence and an elegant finish. Great wine and it’s priced at around $29.99 depending on where you get it. I highly recommend this wine.
