Just a reminder that we need to make a real push for flexible/remote working:
For years companies have introduced loads of strategies that are just empirically disastrous for productivity and engagement, like:
- EMail
- Meetings
- hot desking
- Open plan offices
- no multiple screens
- crazy commutes
No one cared about this, but the moment people introduced true remote/flexible working - companies seem to have a visceral reaction - and it almost seems like a reaction to the fact that people are actually HAPPY!
It’s time to change this, otherwise everything you are doing on work life balance, engagement and productivity is at best lip service!
