This message is for anyone who wants to break into aesthetic or med device sales! I've fielded calls from inside sales reps, aestheticians, and young smart individuals who say they want to break into medical sales. I given the same advice to hundreds over the years. Unfortunately, 95% of the people I've spoken to don't want to make the sacrifice but here it is! You HAVE to get a few years of outside sales business to business (B2B) sales experience where cold calling or prospecting is a large part of the job. The most coveted B2B sales jobs are copiers, payroll, and selling uniforms for a company like Cintas. The only other route is to be an idependent sales rep where you pick up lines on your own. I only suggest this for people who have the utmost confidence in their ability and give it a full 6 months for things to take off. It's worth the hard work sacrificing a few years selling something you may not be passionate about. It is easy to be passionate about your future selling aesthetic devices which is one of if not the hottest space for sales professionals!
