Built a Business PT at soccer practice w/my phone that pays me FT | Simple and Strategic Action Steps |
If you do not know about this event at the BBB this week, you need to know!! I know the featured speaker very well. He's a true expert on the ERC tax benefit, and helping a LOT of local companies, churches, private schools, and nonprofits qualify for these funds. It's a significant amount of funding that many people are missing out on. Many mistakenly think they don't qualify, or they are only getting half of what is available because they don't use true experts to work on their filing. Get there and get educated on how it can help you, or a business you are familiar with. Hope you can make it. https://lnkd.in/gywcD-R2

Nonprofit Founders Club, Nonprofit Nation Fundraising Success Roadmap, Author, Fundraising Mentor/Guide help you implement your fundraising strategies.
Ideas for finding Board members: 👉Look at past and present Board members of other local nonprofits with a similar cause. You can find them on the organization’s website or their 990s. Who do you know or do you know that could make the introduction? Make a list. Do some recon on others you don’t know. Do your paths naturally cross? Send them a friend request with a message like “I see we have a similar interest in xyz causes. I would like to connect.” People who sit on Boards of similar causes already have an affinity to the problem and experience. List those people to make contact with. 👉Find events at your local Chamber of Commerce to attend. This will help you get to know more business people. Larger companies often require their middle and upper management to sit on Boards in their community. Getting to know these companies and employees is good. Also, getting to know the right people at the Chamber of Commerce can open up doors for you. (This will also help you start to build relationships that can help you with event sponsorships later.) 👉A Potential Board Decision Package is a good document to create in order to attract new members. It will spell out your expectations and answer questions people have.
