Are you #hiring?! If not, I'll probably second guess using your SaaS product 🤷🏽♂️. One of the top things I do when evaluating a new SaaS vendor is gaining confidence that they'll be around for next few years, at least. Onboarding to a new vendor takes time and effort that I don't want to waste going with a fly-by-night operation. It's far too easy for any random person to throw up a website and record some cool (fake) demos without any longterm viability of their solution. If you're not hiring, you're not growing and I take that into consideration. (Not the only consideration, of course). I also use job boards as a proxy to your future product roadmap. Hiring mobile engineers? That app I wanted might be coming soon. Lots of embedded engineering roles? Oh yes, latency will be shaved. AI engineers? ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN 🚂!!1!one!!
