My brilliant friend Ann says influencers are OUT in 2024, and creators are IN. Further, Ad Age reports that marketers are tired of paying influencers just to create content, regardless of how it performs. Instead, they are looking to affiliate programs to better measure influencer marketing’s impact while cutting costs. Not to mention, AI can do much of the content creation these days (you still need good marketing/PR teams to execute a delivery strategy). It's going to be an interesting year! Love this! Especially "Authentic Experiences." Everyone worried about their SEO should take this to heart. The "Helpful Content Update" by Google is called that for a reason. The new "E" in E-E-A-T is Experience, but it should be "PE" for "Personal Experience." That's what people will be looking for on an AI-enabled web, and that's what Google will reward. I also love "Prompt Literacy." We need to double down on critical thinking so that people are equipped to "ask the right questions." #IRobot #AIOptimist
