Today we say goodbye and congratulations to our longest-ever serving staff member, Chris Paull. She started her career in our distribution center back in 1976 when members shared their candidates and jobs via paper distribution packs. She moved on to a bookkeeping/accounting role, then managed our cooperative advertising program, and then found her passion for tech projects back in the late 1980s/early 1990s. She also served as our training director, helping to onboard hundreds of members. Chris has worked tirelessly to manage many points of view, multiple tech partners, volunteer leaders, feature requests, scope creep and more. We're going to miss her more than we can possibly express, but are so happy for this next chapter in Chris' life!
✨Prevost Partners celebrates 5 years!✨
What does this really mean?
🥳 5 years of starting {almost} every day excited about the work that lies ahead.
🥳 5 years of interacting with the best clients who challenge us every day and make work fun.
🥳 5 years of understanding it takes a village of friends in various industries who we can lean on, bounce ideas off of, and network with.
🥳 5 years of working side-by-side, in the same office, with each other. How? We’ll write about that in another post. 😆
Here’s to many more years!

Busy.
A word we can all relate to.
But not everyone uses it the same way.
For most, it's an excuse.
A justification for why they haven't achieved their goals.
For why they quit on themselves.
For others, like our clients,
It's an invitation to be laser-focused.
To whittle things down to the essential, most critical steps that will STILL lead to success.
So that in addition to:
being parents to small children,
preparing seniors for college,
running side businesses,
caring for aging parents,
dealing with life’s tragedies, etc…
In 3-5 hours a week ( 60 mins a day) of focused, intentional action,
They are landing promotions to Director, VP, and SVP
At companies they are genuinely excited about.
Making 2X what they made the year prior
And leaving indelible marks of progress in their companies.
If this resonates with you, we'd love to work with you!

Where are all my career transitioners at!? I’d love to hear how you successfully transitioned out of what you did before into what you’re doing now, and the steps you took to get there. Did anyone transition from staffing/recruiting, teaching, or from other field, despite the current state of our economy? Let’s start a conversation, and encourage this community!
🎉 We kicked off our 10th Birthday celebrations in style! Here's a snapshot from the start of our week-long celebration.

Who doesn’t like the idea of pizza, robots and delivery drivers? They all go hand-in-hand! I’m on a journey, telling the story of trying to integrate all three. Lots of tech, some drama.
I can’t believe it’s been just over one year since I started transforming Mamma Ramona's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria into an experiment and execution of pizza making through automation.
Before I immersed myself on this project, I was on a mission to level the playing field against DoorDash and Uber eats for independent delivery driver fleets that had been providing restaurant deliveries long before these companies existed, through the RMDA.
Our team pulled 500+ fleet companies together and under a single API, single billing contact and single point of contact, forged partnerships that brought opportunities to all of the companies in our group. ezCater was our biggest win, but we also provided drivers to Sauce, Nash, Burq and other platforms.
Orders flowed to fleets and fleets managed the orders. Some fleets paid drivers well; some fleets, not so much. The model to follow, though, was dlivrd because drivers respected those companies that valued them above everything else, and drivers make it happen.
dlivrd acquired my company, Nimble Deliveries (Acquired by dlivrd.io) and I still play a role there, albeit a very small one, but what I love most is continuing the mission to level the playing field and bring opportunities direct to the drivers that work with us.
We deliver for restaurants on Toast, Olo, Cartwheel and VROMO, as well as for platforms like ezCater, Sharebite and 7-Eleven. And we’re branching out into non-perishables - wherever we can find more opportunities for our drivers.
It’s because of the respect we pay to drivers, from pay to incentives, and in giving back, that we have 10,000+ active drivers working with us. And the story below illustrates why.

I just got back from a dlivrd roadtrip to Savannah, GA, and Jacksonville, FL, where I had the chance to launch one of our newest driver initiatives, "The dlivrd Drop-in." We are surprising driver partners on our platform, new and old, with a swag bag filled with some pretty cool gifts to show our appreciation for all their hard work. The dlivrd Drop-in is not only a way for us to express gratitude but also an opportunity for us to connect with our driver partners on a personal level. By acknowledging their dedication and commitment, we hope to foster a strong sense of community within our driver network.
Secondly, we rounded out our "Gifts for Grads" summer by surprising our last grad of the year, the daughter of one of our driver partners, with a $1000 towards life's next adventure. The joy and excitement on the graduate's face when she received the surprise gift was priceless. It reminded us of the impact we can make in someone's life through small acts of kindness. It's moments like these that make me grateful to work for a company that values generosity and celebrates milestones with its partners and their families.
This was so fun and rewarding, and a nice change of pace from the normal day-to-day. I can't wait to share the footage of these events, but here's a quick behind-the-scenes from Gifts for Grads.

60 years of feeling super! 💜
Congratulations to our fantastic partner Superdrug on celebrating their 60th anniversary this year.
We're looking forward to releasing some new content (coming soon 👀 ) with Amy Davies, Richard Fleming, Emily Trant & Max Lintott - exploring benefits that make a real difference to teams.
We're proud to work with you on supporting your colleagues with financial wellbeing!
Take your child to work day was a success! Huge thanks to BD for the informative and engaging program, and to Bridget B. for creating a welcoming environment for our children.
Key takeaways during our drive home:
1. “Mommy’s company makes products to help doctors,” followed by “Mommy’s job is to help sell them.” The lesson gleaned is clear: while innovative product creation is pivotal, ensuring access for clinicians and patients demands strategic planning and rigorous execution.
2. "Mommy talks a lot for work" (this should not have been a surprise 😆) - taught them the importance of clear communication.
3. Thank you to Amanda for introducing us to the concept of the "Mommy tax” and Lucy for hosting some very important meetings for our K-wing visitors.
4. And we can't forget the reminder about the need for breaks – "When do you get recess?" has inspired some lunchtime walks in my future.
All in all, good learnings and my office now has new art 🖼️
