What’s going on here, folks? As a former founder in the online ordering space with additional background in conversational commerce, this feels like it should be achievable. What are the big problems that need solving? -STT in a noisy environment -a lot of dead air while customers think -the different ways menus can be architected -customers modifying orders on the fly What else am I missing? There is complementary tech like license plate analysis to help with prediction. One could build out high-level ordering architecture and supplement some custom language models to really offer a next level experience to each franchise. The big players have a ton of recording data they can analyze prior to putting something into production. Surely, there are common threads where the long tail doesn’t represent 70%! 😳 Get it together! Be better! I know the type of people who run restaurants & franchises. They deserve better. #foodtech #voicecommerce #conversationdesign #conversationalai #drivethru #bebetter

Regardless of how you feel about California's recent wage increase, there's no doubt that it's going to increase the adoption of restaurant technology! We can expect to see a rise in things we're familiar with seeing on a semi-frequent basis such as self-service kiosks, but we can also anticipate an increase in technology we may be less acquainted with, such as various food preparation robots. And on top of that, this will also bring about a wave of innovation for technology we still have yet to experience! What are you anticipating we'll see most? And what about what'll come to be? #RestaurantTech #Restaurants #RestaurantIndustry

I Guide Owners Of Small and Mid-Sized Companies to Build a Business They LOVE and Grow it Predictably
Sometimes innovation is awesome. Other times the strategist in me is like “Wtf are you thinking”? Oh right, you’re thinking about how you can make more money. Here’s an important thing to remember. You make more money by having a loyal customer base who loves the problem you solve. Increased profits are one of the outputs. When the problem you solve is providing a decent meal at a reasonable price, then break that … you end up in the conundrum that McDonald’s has worked itself into by “upclassing”. $15-20 for a meal? Heck no, consumers will go elsewhere. What do you think? https://lnkd.in/gagy3WDy

Fast food prices are going up, and McDonald's is feeling the pinch. At ClearCOGS, we get it. We know that in today's ever-changing market, flexibility is key. That's why our AI-powered demand planning system is here to help✅. What do we do? Any and all who are running a restaurant already knows about the increase pricing in our COG's. So what do we do? Here is another article in today's Wall Street Journal, that we all know and are trying to navigate with a consumer that is paying more as well. Do we continue to raise menu items? to offset not only higher COG's but wait what about labor and all other increase that we are seeing/experiencing? The answer is to reimagine your vision, your concept, your foot print. Be a hands on owner/manager and do not let AI misguide oneself as the consumer also is feeling the pinch (as shown below). In our industry 1+1 is not 2, it is a story and we must know what the 2 telling us? It is an eye opener for us to offer goods/services at a price the consumer feels we value their patronage. We can not continue to raise prices and reduce the portion size we offered before. Start by shifting gear towards a new vision.
