📣 ENDING THE WEEK STRONG: Miranda Creative is celebrating major wins at the CADC Awards! 🏆 Our team took home a total of 9 awards for the work that we do for our client partners: 1 Gold, 5 Silver, and 3 Excellence. This achievement highlights our creativity-first culture and the authentic dedication of our entire team. We celebrate with our Art Director/Lead Brand Developer, Carissa Decelles, on her inaugural award program as the president of the Connecticut Art Directors Club. Thank you to the CADC for this recognition and to the entire 30-person community of Miranda Creative. We are thrilled to share the new brand for the Pepin County Heritage Center! Experiencing a decline in visitors, the Pepin County Historical Society came to us in hopes of breathing new life in their museum. Originally named the Old Pepin County Courthouse Museum and Jail, we developed a new name and strategy that would foster greater brand recognition while keeping their mission of preserving and sharing history at the forefront. We drew inspiration from their original logo depicting the courthouse, but updated it with a modern approach. We then paired it with a visual representation of the Chippewa River, speaking to the importance of the landscape to Pepin County’s history. Representation in Life, not just the Arts, is so important for legacy and is essential when you work with communities, especially with Family Arts. Today at the Family Arts Conference 2024, Joseph Coelho & Chandni Mistry both spoke with passion and intregrity about connecting with communities and creative & innovative ways to break down cultural barriers to be more inclusive to the communities they serve. This resonated with me as I have been making those community connections for over 30 years but I was still available to learn some new approaches to my practice. My takeaways from the conference is: 💜To Be you need to See 💜Be Brave & Flexible 💜 Always Reflect & Celebrate (even the small wins) *What are your thoughts on representation in the Arts today? #FACon24 #representationmatters #championdiversity
