A close friend of mine put forward a candidate for a job opportunity, but HR said "No." The reason? As he later found out was because "his resumes could not be read by the ATS" Let's be mindful that there are valid reasons why a resume might not sync well with an ATS system. 📝 Maybe they've opted for a creative layout, unique job titles that the system can't assimilate, or incorporated some eye-catching images or graphic content. But every person should be given a fair chance to see if they are a good fit for a job opening. That is why my start up company here in Austin, Texas is removing this bias from #hiring & #recuiting.
