The best leaders lead with love. They are kind and care for their teams, and will always look to put them in the best situations to succeed. They don't lead through fear, and they certainly don't take a "my way or the highway" approach. They will listen, and share why what they are doing is best for the team’s growth – even if it is a tough or unpopular decision. The way Dan Campbell speaks to his team here, you can tell that he is a coach who LOVES his team. It should be no surprise that he's gotten his team to buy into what he's building. #leadership #love #trust
How can you not LOVE Dan Campbell? This is from 2 years ago and his plan for the Detroit Lions has them on the brink of the Super Bowl. He cares about his guys soooo much, they bought into his vision and made it their identity.

This is what true leadership looks like. As leaders we should all be this fired up everyday to come in and make an impact on our teams. If you care this much about your team, you will be amazed by what they can accomplish.

I love listening to Dan Campbell, every time I find another clip on the net somewhere - there is always some small gold nugget of truth, of wisdom, and passion in it. The problem in business today, is there are oh so few leaders who will put it all out there, put everything on the line, and risk it all. Not being reckless - but taking calculated risk outside of our comfort zones! My observation over many decades - there are too many employees, too many managers, and too many executives who just want to play the game and survive to the next 'game'. Just hang on to the job, hang on to the title, hang on to the office and the perks. Always jockeying for position or planning the next moves to the next promotion - instead of working to create legendary legacies for their colleagues, their companies, their clients and customers. May we model the spirit and ethic of Dan Campbell, and regardless of our position or station in life - may we play like LIONS! #leadership

We Engineer Mission-Critical Applications Designed to Increase Revenue & EBITDA Growth Using Our Proprietary DevFusion™ Formula | DadX3 | Stroke Survivor|Fitness Enthusiast
How does this passionate speech matter in terms of what we do every day at PRI Global... We work tirelessly every single day to prepare our staff so we meet the needs of every single one of our clients. It's an absolute necessity to set a foundation and an expectation. There's a great quote, "Luck Is What Happens When Preparation Meets Opportunity". PRI Global is where the foundation of excellence EXCEEDS expectations. What resonates for me with Dan Campbell is his thought process. If you work in talent or the talent solutions space, you have to love it. You have to wake up thinking about how you can be better, this second, this minute, this hour, this day for your teammates and your clients alike. We live this every single day at PRI GLOBAL. And as a former professional athlete that obsessive mindset is the type of partner you get with me. Have a great rest of the week LinkedIn #PRIProud #PRIGLOBAL #nflplayoffs #talentsolutions #workforcesolutions #TaaS #channelpartners

Every human is limitless in their unique way. Their capacity to dream and set goals knows no bounds. And honestly, age is just a number, nothing more. We can observe this simple truth in the examples of: - Colonel Harland Sanders, who started franchising Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) at 65. - Sam Walton, who opened the first Walmart at 44, revolutionizing retail. - Arianna Huffington, who launched The Huffington Post at 54, becoming a media pioneer. And the list goes on… Inspirational, indeed! For these dreamers and go-getters, every year is another chapter, another chance: → To set lofty goals. → To pursue new dreams. → To redefine success. P.S. What’s your next dream? Share it below.

So inspiring! A role model in how not letting your past define you (rather how to make it work for you) and to always keep with you and know what is important for you, to determine how to reach success in your own career.
“Don’t forget where you came from, but don’t let it solely define you.” In the latest episode of the Path, I sat down with Athletic Greens President and COO Kat Cole to talk about how she went from cleaning gym equipment, working in retail and hostessing, to working her way up to vice president of Hooters at the age of 26. From Hooters to Cinnabon to Athletic Greens, Kat paved her path to the executive suite through an unwavering sense of ownership and commitment to whatever company she’s working for. Kat told me she did it all with an “owner’s mindset.” Taking initiative, feeling responsible for outcomes, and demonstrating a vested interest in overall success—not only drives personal growth and development but also fosters an environment of leadership and accountability, which can fast-track the journey up your career ladder. Watch below to learn more about Kat's inspirational approach to her life and career. And never miss an episode of The Path by subscribing at https://lnkd.in/dr8AChyD

This post has inspired me to share with all my network why hiring a previous Collegiate athlete is often the best hiring decision you can make! I believe I am more than qualified to make this statement as; 1) I have been in the recruitment business nearly 30 years and have hired countless college athletes and encourage all my clients to do so. 2) I was a college athlete 3) Like Jake, my son is now a freshman college athlete. Unless you experienced life as a college athlete personally or via someone very close to you it is hard to understand how difficult this journey truly is. These students are up early and at the facility for practice at 7 am while many of their friends are fast asleep. They practice until it's time to go to class, go to class then return to practice and or learn the game plan until evening then return home to begin their homework/studies. Yes there is glory when you win, or have that amazing tackle, interception or TD on the field but those moments can be few and far between when compared to the time commitment needed to have that moment. What does a previous college athlete often equate to in the work force? 1) An employee who understands that when you get knocked down you get back up. Over and over again. And again. 2) An employee who has had to manage their time down to the hour. These students understand structured time. 3) An employee who has learned that some times you give 100% and still don't receive what you hoped for. (ask the preferred walk-ons sometimes they can give 100% all week and still don't get to put the uniform on come game time) BUT YOU GIVE ANYWAY. 4) An employee who had to juggle 2 jobs at once. 5) An employee who understands the importance and true meaning of teamwork. It's not about liking each other, it's about working and collaborating towards a common goal and letting nothing stand in your way. In conclusion, if you are ever wondering "should I hire this recent student athlete grad with no 'work experience'" trust me the answer is yes as they have more "work experience" than you can imagine. congrats to Jake- take care of my son James Chaney #skobuffs beat Nebraska!
I have a son that plays Linebacker at The University of Wisconsin…his name is Jake Chaney. He is a Junior and will recieve a degree in Finance next year. Go Badgers‼️🦡

https://lnkd.in/gtrXS76c In 2001, Bob Foxhoven, a visionary crew member, approached us with a bold proposal: to create the most legendary breaking event ever, sponsored by Red Bull. The notion of Red Bull, an energy drink synonymous with extreme sports, backing a breaking/hip-hop event, seemed far-fetched. Yet, it materialized in the most unforgettable manner, setting a new benchmark for breaking events worldwide. The event's success the following year raised the bar to new heights, surpassing any expectations within the breaking community. This experience was transformative for me, reshaping my career path entirely. Though I began my college journey as an engineering major, I quickly pivoted to marketing, driven by the events that unfolded. I launched and led an agency specializing in youth marketing with a focus on dance, which evolved into a 360 full-service marketing and advertising agency. Operating with over 20 full-time employees, I navigated both successes and challenges, learning valuable lessons about timing and the importance of valuing people along the way. Now, 23 years after that inaugural event in 2001, I find myself at the forefront of this project for Red Bull, the very project that altered the course of my life. I am tasked with the opportunity to reinvent and revive this legendary event in the most remarkable way possible. With the event looming on the horizon, my determination to maximize this project's success has never been stronger. I'm aiming to surpass the past, to recreate history. Let's see if we can make lightning strike twice. LFG, team! #breakingsince2001 #redbull #redbulllordsofthefloor
