It's a big week for housing and Habitat for Humanity in Oregon! More than 40 advocates are meeting with state lawmakers during #HabitatAtTheCapitol today. At a time when housing costs outpace incomes and while our state experiences a well-documented shortage of affordable homes, it’s more important than ever to support policies and systems that expand new home production and sustain access to critical matched-savings programs that help create pathways toward homeownership. Understanding that here in Detroit this is the time period of the demolishing and demolition of the old in preparation for the last 7 to 5 years of the reconstruct of Detroit to be “dubbed” *New Detroit* which objective appears to be a Non-Black Majority Detroit, I would be remiss not to mention that I’m hip to the supposedly 30 year plan to achieve this nefarious goal. By My estimation & informed opinion WE should be in year 20, 21 or 22 of this “so called” 30 Year Plan.. #DCU #DetroitCitizensUnion “Established To Combat The Detroit City” 👇🏿 #BlackfaceBullshytPoliticalFigures ..Rhuben X

APA states, “Planners work to improve the well-being of all people living in our communities by taking a comprehensive perspective. This approach leads to safer, resilient, more equitable, and more prosperous communities.
