Something I value and am working on: As we head into the weekend, I encourage you meditate on which category you “think” you are in… and perhaps which category your team would say you are in. If you aren’t inviting your team to the table to contribute their skills, or better yet… creating safe spaces for your teams to do the work autonomously — you might resemble poor Narcissus forever staring in want of that person reflected back in the water. #leadership #mindfulness #teamwork

🚨 Important update to the MedTech Market Growth Program for Round 2 🚨   Please see below for more details:  📌 Round 2 (final round) is now open and the deadline has been extended to close on Monday 20 May 2024 10am (AEST) 📌 The definition of a Scaling Startup in the program guidelines have been updated as follows: 📍 A Scaling Startup must have: Raised seed or Series A funding from private or professional investors of between $500,000 to $10million (cumulative excluding grants) (companies that have not raised this amount of funding, or who are bootstrapped are eligible to apply if they can show a clear financial runway, or pathway to investments and/or grants). Additionally, companies must have commenced planning, are conducting, or have completed Stage 1 clinical trial.  📍 These updates have been reflected within our program guidelines and are listed on the LaunchVic website: Program Guidelines HERE

A few months ago, around 2pm, surprise phone call. It's Maayan Froind Sigler: "Can you jump on a quick call? We might start working with Hapoel Tel-Aviv and we need someone that understands football". I'm jumping on Zoom to hear some discussion, I see nothing on camera so far. A minute passes and they enable the camera - 15 people appear on the other side sitting in the same room, including Hapoel's new US acquisition team, Deloitte partners and even Deloitte's CEO. Quite a surprise to walk into something like this. ... Not more than a few days later - we start working on Hapoel's new brand strategy. The team is basically made of Itay Boneh - an Hapoel fanatic and a long-time season ticket holder, Noa Shenfeld and myself - a Maccabi fan of 30 years. Quite an interesting mix. ... Side by side, and with the perspectives of both Hapoel fans and the US team, we crafted a brand strategy that presents Hapoel as an Israeli icon with 100 years of rich history, but focusing on the most current chapter that will be written in the following years. The design and UX/UI teams translated it into a new visual identity and website, which has launched today. My favorite piece is the ability to navigate the header and reminisce about big moments in Hapoel's past, and then launch right back into the upcoming match. ... Had a lot of fun working on this one.
