SoiLabs signs long term development MoU with Singapore's Republic Polytechnic In a significant move in driving innovation in the agri-food tech sector, SoiLabs' CEO Mauro Catellani and Dr. Boon Whatt Lim of Republic Polytechnic (RP) have solidified their partnership with the signing of a long-term development Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the recent Agri-Food Tech Expo Asia in Singapore. The MoU underlines a commitment to deepening the cooperative relationship between SoiLabs and RP, a partnership that has already seen a number of products developed. As part of the Hafnium Hafaway portfolio, SoiLabs has been at the forefront of pioneering an industrial scale solution to the upcycling of okara. SoiLabs' initiatives are not only a boon for Singapore's 30X30 food security goals, but for transforming the approach to upcycling okara for the global market. #foodtech #upcycling #agritech

I am thrilled to share that I had the privilege of representing ITC - Innovation Technology Cluster at the Digital Technologies and Sustainable Food Systems event, organized by AgFutura Technologies and Green Growth Platform as part of the Project Cities in Skopje, North Macedonia. Participating in the round table discussion on transforming agri-food systems in the EU and Balkans was truly enlightening. The conversation emphasized the need to not only advance technologies but also to streamline their implementation, reducing complexity for farmers. The Asia-Pacific Agri-Food Innovation Summit in Singapore unites over 1000 international stakeholders – including La Trobe University – from across the agri-food ecosystem. The mission? The discussions centered around synergies within the current state and interventions within the Davao cacao industry. Notably, the integration of geospatial mapping and analysis in the sector took center stage, marking a pivotal step toward a more data-driven approach and digital Agriculture.
