As we continue to celebrate #PrideMonth, it's important to highlight the integral role allies play in fostering belonging, shared respect and understanding of LGBTQ+ issues. To reach our full potential, it takes the collective efforts of all ITW team members to build a diverse and inclusive workplace. We asked allies of Pride at ITW to reflect on their participation in the employee resource group, and its impact on their personal and professional lives. Tag a colleague in the comments that you have seen display allyship! #ProudToBeITW

June is Pride Month–a time to celebrate the resilience of the LGBTQ+ community and their progress in pursuit of equality and acceptance. It’s a time for reflection, education, and connection. Manchester Industries remains an ally and offers a supportive workplace where all employees feel safe, valued, and included. One simple way we can create a more accepting workplace is by adding pronouns to email signatures. Pronouns are how we identify ourselves apart from our names. Sharing your pronouns first can set a norm and encourage others to do the same. We don’t just talk about our commitment to inclusion, we choose to model it. #PrideMonth #DiversityAndInclusion

Visibility is the cornerstone of understanding. This Pride Month, we’re not just celebrating the spectrum of identities within our community; we’re also acknowledging the unseen struggles that many in the LGBTQ+ community face in the workplace. It’s about recognizing the silent battles, the quiet resilience, and the strength it takes to live authentically in a world that often overlooks the challenges faced by this community. By bringing these struggles into the light, we offer support, understanding, and the recognition that everyone deserves. It’s a commitment to not only see but to listen and to act, ensuring that visibility leads to real change. Let’s make this Pride Month a turning point, where we commit to a workplace that values visibility as the foundation of a truly inclusive environment. #PowerOfVisibility #PrideMonth #LHHPride
