We are looking for a talented professional who excels in managing full project life cycles and software development and has expertise in manufacturing. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to adapt to fast-paced environments. Responsibilities: Manage full project life cycles, from initial requirement gathering to final delivery. Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, dependencies, and risks. Prepare high-level design documents, code, and test plans for complex requirements. Optimize system functionality by defining and adding transactions and programs. Conduct internal delivery audits, design reviews, and code reviews for mainframe projects. Provide support for system testing and user acceptance testing. Lead a distributed team, fostering open communication and ensuring the successful implementation of products. Propose innovative ideas to clients for productive outcomes. Oversee and manage a team of technicians to ensure production processes run smoothly. Troubleshoot and solve technical problems that may arise during production. Develop and implement procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and quality. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Required Skills and Experience: Extensive experience in web-based, web service, mainframe, and database applications. Proficiency in programming languages: COBOL, JAVA, JCL, IMS DB/DC, SQL, VSAM, CICS. Expertise in SDLC, STLC, and Bug life cycle. Solid work experience in TSO/ISPF, Control-D, Squirrel, OPTUM, Z/OS Connect API, ULTIM, DB2 Insight, INFOPAC, DUMPMASTER, File-aid, File Master, SharePoint, Detector. Experience with SCM/Scheduler tools: Endeavor, ChangeMan, Control-M, CA-7, TWS. Project management tools: Jira, Confluence, HP ALM, qTest. Database systems: SQL Server 2000-2016, DB2, MySQL, MSSQL, IMS DB. Operating systems: Z/OS, MVS, Windows. Version control, build and CI tools: Maven, Jenkins, SVN, GIT. Test automation tools/framework: Selenium WebDriver, Rest Assured, Hybrid framework (Keyword and data-driven), Cucumber. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Effective communication and leadership skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. Desired Qualifications: Recognized with awards for project management and innovation. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and participating in relevant ceremonies. Ability to mentor and guide junior developers and testers. Proven track record of successful project delivery and support activities, including L3 production support.
