Celebrating Our Everyday Heroes 🌟 Today, we want to take a moment to celebrate some very special people in our company — the ones who often work quietly behind the scenes but whose impact is felt everywhere. Imagine how powerful it is to work in a place where everyone feels appreciated, no matter their role or title. It’s a place where people are motivated not just by their paycheck but by the feeling that they are part of something bigger, that their work is making a difference. That’s the kind of culture we should all strive to build — one where recognition is not just a formality but a heartfelt expression of gratitude. Recognition isn’t just about giving credit where it’s due — it’s about truly seeing and appreciating the individuals who make our company what it is. When we take the time to acknowledge the efforts of our non-management team members, we’re not just boosting morale; we’re showing them that their contributions matter, that they are valued, and that they are essential to our success. So, here’s to the people who show up every day with dedication and drive, who put their heart into their work, and who help us achieve our goals. Your efforts might not always be in the spotlight, but they are deeply valued and appreciated. Thank you for everything you do. 💙👏 Let’s continue to celebrate each other and make our workplace a place where everyone’s contributions are recognized and cherished. Grateful for this nonstop, rewarding, incredible journey with my Francesca's team—it's more than just colleagues or a team; we it's family. Crafting a positive work environment has been a source of pride, fostering a second HOME where every team member feels SAFE, HEARD, RESPECTED, and PRAISED. Our collective dedication has created a dynamic team whose energy resonates throughout our boutique. Our guests' kind words echo their positive experiences, reinforcing our commitment. Amidst heartfelt moments this week, team members shared newfound career aspirations in retail, a testament to the unique space we've cultivated. Their desire to GROW with me and our beloved company after working here for nearly a decade is so fulfilling. I love that they love what they do, just like me. Whether it’s creating an outfit on a mannequin, or an incredible experience with our guest - I make sure my team gets positive and constructive feedback to ensure they know that they are valued and that if anything does need some work, we will work through that together to be THAT much stronger in their role and duty on the sales floor. When a 16-year-old employee has you saved as "Allison best boss ever," it's a testament to the culture we've built. Succession is no longer a concept; it's a shared goal. The supportive environment breeds empowerment—I regularly express pride, a sentiment some haven't heard from past leaders. This isn't about boasting; it's a reminder that team retention lies in creating a space where they want to stay. While we may not offer the highest pay or the most hours compared to every business they could seek, we have heart, passion, and a genuine love for what we do. Our team members aren't just numbers; they're evolving leaders within our company. To leaders out there, make your team feel valued. Reflect on what you wished for in their roles and ensure they know their worth. My mantra: "I AM PROUD OF YOU." Celebrate the daily victories, for this little but MIGHTY team of mine continues to exceed expectations. Excited for the bright future of the Daytona Beach francescas team! 🌟 #TeamPride #FrancescasFamily #LeadershipJourney

Founder at Castle I Group | Professional Life and Career Coach | Chief Marketing Consultant | Community Builder | Open to Advisory and Contract Roles
As someone who has spent over three decades in marketing and sales management, I've heard the same three concerns from many co-workers: lack of attention from their managers, feeling unheard, and a decrease in self-worth leading to thoughts of quitting. During a recent trip to Toronto, I overheard two colleagues discussing these same challenges, which inspired me to write my latest blog post titled "Victoria." In the words of Aristotle, "Knowing yourself is the beginning of all wisdom." If you're feeling unheard or undervalued at work, take the time to reflect on your own needs and priorities. And if you're a manager, remember that investing in your employee's development and well-being is crucial for a successful team. I had the pleasure of attending the New York Life (Bethesda office) Christmas dinner last night and I observed a few things. 1. Family is valued. Our families were invited to attend, tour the beautiful office, enjoy a delicious dinner and share in the laughter of Santa's visit. (Pictured: myself, my husband Chris and my two children, Makenzie & Matt) 2. Leadership is exceptional. When those in the highest (well-earned) positions take the time to get to know you and your family on a personal basis, it takes management to an entirely new level. This type of leadership is what creates successful offices. 3. Honor. It was truly an honor to be among my new colleagues who have longevity with this amazing company. When a company has existed for 178 years and you meet a woman who has been with them for the last 49 years (and this is only one example of dedication to the business), you can't help but to feel grateful to be a part of it. After 15 years in management and in my mid-40s, starting over wasn't exactly something I wanted to do; it's something I absolutely had to do. Don't settle for mediocre. I can't wait to conquer this next year. I'm prepared for a lot of challenges, but having the leadership, guidance and demand for accountability, I'd be amiss to not state the fact that I'm determined to succeed. #GWNYL #newyorklife #success #leadership #empower

🛳️ LOOK - A BIG SHIP 🛳️ 🤭 Ok, ok so this post isn’t going to be about the big ship, although fun fact… this big ship is the now retired HMS Belfast docked at The Queen’s Walk near Tower Bridge, and is also a museum… very cool 🤭 💡On another note, I would like to share a little thought about a different type of ship… COMRADESHIP … why I am grateful for it and why everyone should have it💡 ⭐️ Today I travelled to London to meet with my esteemed resilience colleagues Jayne Romanczuk MBCI and James L. and what an absolute treat it was (I never say that lightly). In a few short hours together we were able to ideate, share challenges, find new opportunities and value create. Not bad by any stretch… ⭐️ 🛟 Arguably you could achieve most of these things with any colleague, after all, we are all here to achieve the same goals for our organisation. But it’s not just that… you need great comradeship to make the best of that value. Comrades are the people who you are 💯 certain would throw you the life raft when you need it the most - always there for you in the good times and the bad 🛟 🤩 And lucky me….because I have firm comrades in my colleagues. They always make my day brighter and make me a better version of myself both professionally and personally. I truly believe everyone needs comrades in their lives and if you do, let’s celebrate it 🤩 #comradeship #leadershipdevelopment #womeninbusiness #womeninresilience

Just had the incredible opportunity to attend the Ram mandir pran pratistha celebration in Sydney over the weekend. The celebration showcased our diversity and being a part of it, was a reminder of the beauty that emerges when different cultures come together. Thank you Australia for being the epitome of cultural inclusivity. Let's keep celebrating diversity, fostering understanding and building connections. 5 timeless lessons from Ramayana for today's Era: 1) Leadership Essence: Channel the essence of Rama's leadership – trustworthy, steady and dependable. 2) Resilience Blueprint: Draw inspiration from Sita's resilience. Life is full of ups and downs; it's how we bounce back that defines our path. 3) Team Synergy: Reflect on the power of collaboration, just like Rama, Lakshman and Hanuman. Together, we achieve more. 4) Ethical Foundations: Embrace the impact of ethical decisions, a principle exemplified by Vibhishana. Upholding integrity is a universal key to success. 5) Balancing Traditions: Find the delicate balance between tradition and innovation, mirroring Rama's approach. Rooted yet adaptive – a blend for sustained growth.
