Have you ever wondered how we got from a couple guys in the warehouse bending metal to scalable high-assurance custom form factors for pointy-end operations? Not one, but many form factors that support the full range of Phase Zero AFO to Phase Five Leave Behind, and everything in between? We, at every step, are mission focused. We talk to mission partners. We talk to the people who go out forward. We talk to the analysts. We listen to understand what works, what doesn't, and what the needs are. Our leadership is uniquely positioned with storied mission experience to turn those conversations and that knowledge into actionable requirements. Our engineers who develop our hardware are largely veterans and they understand how important it is to create tools that empower expeditionary operations - whether it be in cyberspace or meat space. We understand the assignment. We are committed. #notjustanothersheep #huntforward #cyberoperations #edgecompute #vimanaedgecomute

This is Space Force Junior ROTC "Guardian Spirit Week" -- Values for a Healthy Life It is #GuardianSpiritWeek, the anniversary of the publication of the Guardian Spirit Handbook with its amplified Guardian Values. The SFJROTC culture team in Space Delta 13, Detachment 2 met with some of the subject matter experts of the United States Space Force Quality of Life and Resilience team. These #connections will lead to lessons that lay the foundation for a lifetime of health and wellbeing for the high school students making the #commitment to become "#Citizens of #Character with a #space-vision" by participating in #SpaceForceJROTC. Embracing the organization's core values is a critical component for resilience and wellness. This tenet is one of several that make up the Spiritual Domain, one of eight parts* in the USSF's Holistic Health Model. The values are now only one piece of the complete-citizenship puzzle. Thank you to Andrea Aguirre, DrPH, MPH, CHES, CTTS and Mark Munger of SF/S1Q for your partnership with the SFJROTC team. The ten Title 10-mandated #SFJROTC units are managed by Air Force Junior Reserve Officers' Training Corps (AFJROTC) with the support of U.S. Space Force, Space Training and Readiness Command, Space Delta 13, Detachment 2. *The other domains are Social, Physical, Financial, Medical/Dental Care, Environmental, Nutritional, and Psychological.

As the United States has shown, commercial space companies are vital for national defense. The power of public-private collaboration has accelerated technological advances across the spectrum. This is inspiring national space agencies and their military space forces to work together, particularly member states of the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue of Australia, India, Japan, and the United States. The Quad is evolving into a platform for mutual security supported by a series of foundational defense agreements. Earlier this week, the International Security Industry Council of Japan and Space Force Association hosted a webinar focused on the central question, “How can allied space forces and their commercial partners learn from each other?” Watch now: https://lnkd.in/ePC44AFt

Well done, JJ. The importance of all of these principles being implemented becomes even clearer when comparing Operation Kingpin to Operation Eagle Claw. https://lnkd.in/echqE5Sr

There’s a small opening in the clouds, GO! Free Fall Friday, My team from Force Recon Co IMEF “Jaeger” conducting HALO / HAHO jumps over the mountainous terrain of Butte Montana in preparation for a mountain Afghan Deployment in early 2010. Outside of TORDS Barrel jumping, this mountain HALO/HAHO package was some of the most advanced (and dangerous) of my career. We were often jumping from 25,000 ft MSL on Oxygen, (temps at -30 to-40) but due to the mountainous terrain we were rarely actually above 12,000 ft AGL. There wasn’t much altitude left once you cleared the cloud cover before you were landing on the deck. This was the only time in my career I jumped in actual snow storms and had ice buildup on my canopy while in flight. (Yeah a lot of the jumps in this package should have been cancelled). As the end cells of my parachute would fill with snow or have ice build up, the canopy would momentarily lose lift and give us a “trap door effect” for a little fall. This usually shook the snow/ice out and would re-inflate the canopy. Really nerve wracking. Especially when you get close to landing. As we progressed we went from landing at the airfield, to landing on uneven mountainous terrain. Some really advanced stuff that I never saw again outside of Force Recon Co I MEF. Thankfully we had contracted some great instructors to film, photograph, and debrief every jump. By the time we left my team had over 50 free falls together, and this was just one of several jump packages we completed before deployment. I was surprised to learn that my friends in MARSOC who went through MMPC with me had not even done a single free fall training jump outside of the school house in the amount of time our guys in Force Recon were already in the triple digits. #marinereconfoundation #reconsniperfoundation #forcereconassociation #military_freefall_association #recondo #usmc #usmcrecon #gwot #military #marine #freefall #mff #militaryfreefall #veteran #retiredusmc
