Let’s all take the time this holiday in the US, to be thankful for all the things we have: loved ones still here, food on tables and roofs over our heads, clean water, and the ability to be free and say and do what we want (within reason). Everything else is small and petty: Grievances, hurts that come out as raw anger, self centered-ness. And although things seem a bit rough in our country it’s definitely way rougher in other parts of the world. Let’s all be more forgiving and tolerant. Take a minute to think of things from others point of view. Take a minute to do something kind, when no one is watching. If you have wronged someone- apologize and own it. If someone has wronged you- forgive them, silently if you have to, and move on. Be authentic. Live in the moment. Stay off your phone for a day. Turn off the news Sit outside and be silent. Tell those that you care about that you love them- every time you see them or talk to them. These are all things we forget to do every day - unless we make a concerted effort to do so. When done enough and with frequency it becomes a habit. No better time than Thanksgiving week.

Can we normalize Thanksgiving? Can we normalize calling friends and family every-time, not only on Thanksgiving or other holidays? Can we normalize visiting places every-time, and making memories every-time, and not only on Thanksgiving? Can we normalize giving and caring every time, and not only on Thanksgiving or other holidays? Can we normalize feeding the hungry every time, and not only on Thanksgiving and other holidays? Can we normalize kindness every-time-and not on special dates or events? Can we just be an everyday empath and not a seasonal empath? Can we just do good because it is good, and not because it looks good on us to do good? Can we? What else do you think we should normalize?🙋🏾♀️❓ Add in the comment section 😍 And yes, happy Thanksgiving my friend… t.me/bisolamariam is the link to join my telegram channel or use link in my bio. #bisolamariam
