MY MONDAY MORNING SPOTLIGHT... These three are simply extraordinary. They not only own their own Journey Franchise, but they also are a part of the partnership team for our National Partners. Jaime Anderson, Joey Medina, and Matt DeSantis know how to win, but it's not just that. I love working with them because they know how to smile and have fun along the way. They are exceptional at putting our partners first, and giving them the service and customizations they want and deserve. Their commitment and energy not only uplift our team, but they elevate me personally. Every day, I am thankful to have them in my corner. 💚🚀

Having a positive attitude and taking pride in your work are the true catalysts for future success! How you perceive your career makes all the difference – is it merely a paycheck or a stepping stone propelling you and your family to new heights? Allow me to share an inspiring story about a friend who kicked off his journey at the entry-level position in McDonald's. Many might have overlooked this starting point, but not him. With unwavering pride in his job and a consistently positive attitude, he envisioned a great future. Today, he doesn't just own one, but more than 55 McDonald's franchises, making him one of the most successful individuals in his city. The lesson here is clear: it's not about where you start, but the passion, pride, and positivity you infuse into your work every day that pave the way for extraordinary achievements.

Philanthropist | Investor | Advisor | Chairman | Mentor Author of Redneck Resilience: A Country Boy's Journey to Prosperity
After 40 years in the medical field, I decided to reach far out of my comfort zone and ended up becoming one of the largest Orangetheory franchisees in the country. As I am not one to slow down, I currently have three additional businesses at play, including a new franchise opportunity, Scenthound, where I am currently overseeing the development of 25 stores in the Dallas market. It is my belief that when you accomplish one goal, you should work for another. This is true in my business also
We should talk about Russell Wilson. Today, it was announced that he would be benched for the rest of the season. Less than two years ago, Russ was traded in a mega-deal to the Denver Broncos from the Seattle Seahawks. His time in Denver is probably over. Russ wanted a fresh start, but he also wanted more money, he wanted to be the main star, and he thought he could bring his talents to another franchise and repeat the success he had in his early days as a Seahawk. It didn't work out. Tony Zarsadias once said to me, "Sometimes you can't read the label when you're stuck inside the bottle." Russ had it great in Seattle. He had a fan base that adored him, a coach that protected him, a franchise that supported him, and peers that went to bat for him. Somehow, he didn't see it the same way and thought his value was greater elsewhere. The grass isn't always greener, so take note of your environment and surroundings before you jump to the next opportunity. Be aware of your value and worth, but also be accepting of what more money could bring. New organizations bring new expectations that may leave you wishing you never left.

Former Sales Leader turned Real Estate Developer and Capital Raiser. We help people invest passively into specific real estate deals.
Everyone has a role to play…. And as soon as you understand what your role is, the sooner you will attract the right partners/people who fill in the other necessary roles for your business/life. Example: Spoke with a guy who owns 21 McDonald’s franchises. He is someone that makes great money, needs to diversify but doesn’t have the time or knowledge to do his own Real Estate Deals. He connects with a referred operator/investor like me to invest with. This gentleman has realized his role in real estate will strictly be capital. He won’t need to operate the deal, handle construction or tenants. He plays his role, we play ours! As soon as I realized my role within the business I attracted a team that handles other elements of the business. Now we do MILLIONS in development, something I wasn’t doing 2.5 years ago. Know your role!
