I never thought a career in the apparel world would be as tough as it is. Apparel design requires a whole lot of passion and finances to pull through. So I thought how about I start it out in apparel industrial manufacturing, I don't particularly hate it, I mean I have learnt a whole lot of knowledge and skills I never thought I would have and has had some change in career perspective, but the drama, pressure and expectations to deliver in an impossible environment is something that has made me rethink my career aspirations. I love working in apparel world I just wish there were spaces that were more accommodating to local skills without making one feel like it has to cost you an arm and a leg. It is even tougher when you are younger and most managers assume that you don't have enough experience hence will underpay despite overworking you.. #apparelindustry #apparelmanufacturing #merchandising #productdevelopment #qualityassurance
