Do you network your brand or business? If so, which of these gathering types does it look more like: 1) early morning or lunch time, 2) specific group association, or 3) something else?
I love the aspect of #networking to meet new people and get to know about them & their business! You most likely have your 30-60 second intro down pat, right? Well, to a group of people you regularly see, I think it's a little bit of a disservice when we say the same thing all the time. For example, an iceberg sticking out of the water is still an iceberg, but what's under the water is just as much important.
So, in this photo, I've asked this great group of #womenbusinessowners to include something they don't normally share in their intro, but wish people knew.
For me, I shared two things, because I have two businesses.
🌟As a skincare advocate, I wish people knew that using shampoo or body wash is not the same as a facial cleanser. 😳 Your face needs a different kind of care than your hair or feet.
🌟As a marketer, I wish people understood marketing is not sales even though they work well together. In more established companies, these are separated, but in smaller businesses the roles may get blended.
