Leadership Coach, Podcast Host, Speaker, Author - Helping Catholic communities worldwide find renewal. And glad to take people for a ride on my motorcycle!
When navigating tough conversations around topics such as gender identity, we often default to trying to point to facts and "win the debate." Ultimately, this doesn't lead to progress. It's more likely to lead to division and further hurt. On this week's podcast, Jason Evert suggested that it's better to begin by seeking to understand where the person is coming from, and what their own experience has been. When people know we genuinely care about them more than we care about being "right," we're able to connect and begin to break down the barriers. Dive deeper into this conversation on episode 149 of the Huntley Leadership Podcast with Jason Evert - Available now wherever you listen!

If you're part of the plus-sized community, give a listen and I'm sure you'll hear familiar stories. And if you're in the apparel industry itself, tune in to understand your potential customer's point of view, and how Make Plus Equal is positioned to help you avoid the pitfalls & missteps of serving the Plus-sized community.
Three reasons you should go listen to the FatJoy Podcast right now! 1. The FatJoy Podcast is rated in the top 2% of 3.4 million Global podcasts! 2. Working to radically transform the way people do relationships across the globe | Relational Intelligence & Social Health Keynote | TEDx Speaker (3M+ views) | Author
We need to keep striving towards genuine inclusion. This includes making the effort to educate ourselves about different cultures and perspectives, especially in terms of how to show respect in ways that matter to them. Sometimes it's easy to become lazy and assume that our actions aren’t causing offence, especially since that was never our intent. However, taking a moment to really appreciate how our words and actions can land with those who are different to us can be transformative in making them feel respected, safe, and valued. You can listen to our latest podcast episode on our YouTube channel. The link is in the comments. #inclusionmatters #inclusionanddiversity #leadershipdevelopment
