Want to stand out in your job #interviews? Here's a valuable tip: create a 30-60-90 Day Plan. A 30-60-90 Day Plan is a strategic outline of your goals and actions for the first three months on the job. This can impress hiring managers and answers their key questions: Do you understand the #job? Can you perform it? Will you perform it? It shows your dedication, work ethic, and competence, and can give you an edge in the #hiring process. Demonstrate your readiness to hit the ground running and contribute to the organization's success. 🙋🏾♂️ This came up in a conversation with a client just last week. I recommend giving candidates interview questions in advance because it's more neuro-inclusive. When I've done it in my recruitment it raised the quality of all candidate interviews! We had more in-depth conversations that felt authentic. The traditional job interview has been about putting people on the spot, under pressure, almost like trying to catch people out. It's not a great way to get to know someone! It also doesn't give the person a good chance of demonstrating their experience because they're anxious and plucking half-baked answers out of the air. It's more a test of how well can you perform on the spot. Think exam vs. coursework. The best person for the job might not be that great at interviews 🤷🏾♂️ 🤔 I was asked... what if giving interview questions in advance, further benefits those with the privilege of having a friend on the inside? (Who can coach them on what to say) I know my answer but I'm curious to hear what others think. Maybe you have hands-on experience. Feel free to drop your thoughts in the comment section...

SHOULD CANDIDATES BE GIVEN INTERVIEW QUESTIONS IN ADVANCE? Lovely to be quoted once again in People Management magazine about John Lewis's decision to publish interview questions in advance of meeting candidates. It's great for John Lewis #employerbrand and I'm in favour but let me say more... (I know, I know😅) Interviewing a candidate is not just about reading out questions and writing down answers, or not in some cases. That's cold and boring! A great interviewer has a genuine investment in the process. They've researched each candidate in advance (not 3 minutes before the interview starts), have great listening skills to really hear what the candidate is saying and gauge interest on who want to work for your company, not just any company and be ready to answer questions from the candidates too. And guess what? Giving those questions in advance won't disrupt any of the above. Read the different insightful perspectives alongside my own using the link below. Can't wait for my glossy paper copy of the magazine to arrive! Let's keep the conversation flowing. https://lnkd.in/dJkYA_hG #InterviewQuestions #HRInsights #HR

Happy Tuesday! 😀 Thorough interview preparation is key to increase your chances of success in securing a job especially in today's challenging economic climate. A-Line Staffing provided some valuable advice to assist you in securing your next job offer!
Preparing for an interview boosts your confidence, showcases your interest in the company, helps articulate your skills effectively, and enables you to handle questions with ease. At A-Line Staffing we take pride in ensuring that every candidate selected to interview with our clients is thoroughly prepared. We ensure that candidates can confidently answer common questions, increasing the likelihood of receiving an offer. Here are 5 important things to keep in mind for your interview: 1. Be Prepared: Research the company, its values, culture, and the role for which you are applying. 2. Be Punctual: Arriving late or being excessively early will create a negative impression. Punctuality is crucial in displaying your professionalism. 3. Communicate Effectively: Rambling on or providing overly brief answers can hinder effective communication. Practice concise yet comprehensive responses to common interview questions such as “tell me about yourself”. 4. Watch Your Body Language: Non-verbal cues matter. Make eye contact, sit up straight, practice natural gestures when you talk to give the impression of confidence. 5. Ask Questions: Prepare 2-3 thoughtful questions about the company, the role, or the team to showcase your interest and competence. #TemporaryStaffing #StaffingSolutions #HealthcareStaffing #directhire #NursingJobs #HealthcareRecruitment #HealthcareCareers #MedicalJobs #ITjobs

If you get contacted to go on an interview whether it is by a recruiter or a company directly.... Ask these 3 questions. 1. What is the salary range of this position? 2. When is the start date of this position? 3. Are you interviewing both internal and external candidates? The answers to these questions tell you everything you need to know. ✅ If they can't give you a salary range, it's not competitive. ✅If they can't give you a start date, they are not filling it. ✅If they are interviewing internally, you are not getting the job. Interview processes are long, sluggish, frustrating and soul sucking.... You are PERFECTLY within your right to be able to say YES or NO. Anyone hiring with any sense of urgency knows the answer to ALL 3 of these questions. If they answer appropriately.....carry on.

Have you ever left a #jobinterview feeling like you were a good fit for the position, but you didn’t answer the questions as well as you could have, simply because you were too nervous? More often than not, the job interview process is nerve-wracking, including the first question: ‘Tell me about yourself.’ However, the exciting news is that some businesses have started publishing their #interviewquestions in advance. This allows #candidates to be better prepared and less stressed on interview day. That’s why the advice ‘know what you want, be prepared, and ask for it’ sounds more realistic to me now. By and large, this is a smart move for businesses. It helps ensure companies get the #rightpeople for the job, reduces stress for candidates, and helps reduce recruitment costs. https://lnkd.in/eQbND9Gg? #PM

1wGreat tips, but a resume would be enough to include all the highlighted elements. I believe showing the HRM how you can solve their problem goes a long way. Everyone is seeking work-life balance; show them how you can be 1+1 for them instead of being a baby they have to babysit.
