Being recognized by PureWow not only amplifies our brand's visibility but also celebrates the rich tapestry of AAPI-owned businesses contributing to the beauty industry. It's a reminder of the importance of diversity and representation, inspiring others to embrace their cultural heritage and share it with the world. "Amy Ling launched sundays with a focus on nail care and wellness. Not only did she create a line of 10-free, non-toxic nail polishes (which is an Oprah favorite), but also designed brick-and-mortar salons where people can get manis and pedis and practice self-care. You can find a sundays studios all over NYC, where you can dabble in a wellness treatment (like guided meditation, an ancient rituals foot soak or massage) while you get your nails done. As Ling shares on the brand's site, 'I founded sundays on the values of individuality, simplicity and wellness, which is also what I aspired to practice everyday. I believe wellness is a journey, and not a one-size-fits-all solution, or an achievement to check off your to-do list, but a long-term goal.'" https://lnkd.in/eiJsH3BU

Embracing Beauty Diversity: A Shift in the Beauty Industry 🌟💄 In the beauty and wellness industry, we are witnessing a remarkable transformation—a departure from old stereotypes that confined beauty within rigid boundaries. Traditionally, beauty has been associated with perfection, youthfulness, and conformity to societal standards, promoting a narrow definition of what it means to be beautiful. However, times are changing, and so are our perceptions. 💖 Shifting Beauty Standards With a growing awareness of cultural diversity and individuality, there is a rising demand for inclusivity in beauty and wellness. Brands are finally recognizing the need to celebrate beauty in all its forms. They are embracing models of different body types, skin tones, ages, and gender identities in their campaigns, promoting a more genuine and diverse representation of beauty. 💄 Beyond Pink: A New Approach to Marketing The color pink has long been associated with the beauty industry, targeting predominantly female consumers. While this strategy might have worked in the past, there's a shift towards more thoughtful marketing approaches today. Brands are exploring a broader range of colors and aesthetics to connect with consumers, respecting their unique tastes and preferences. 🌈 Beauty Meets Wellness In a bid to promote holistic well-being, beauty brands are expanding their focus beyond mere cosmetic aspects. Mental health, self-esteem, and self-care are now at the forefront of the industry. Brands encourage mindfulness, relaxation, and self-care routines as essential components of beauty, emphasizing the importance of nurturing both our inner and outer selves. 💪 Embracing Change As consumers, we play a crucial role in this transformative journey. By supporting brands that champion inclusivity and diversity, we send a strong message to the industry. Together, we can challenge outdated beauty standards and celebrate the uniqueness that makes us who we are. Let's embrace this evolving beauty landscape, celebrating the diverse tapestry of beauty that unites us all. Join the movement for a more inclusive and empowering beauty industry! 🌟💕 #BeautyDiversity #InclusiveBeauty #SelfLove

👀 March is Workplace Eye Wellness Month! Are your eyes feeling the strain from hours in front of screens? Here are some eye ergonomics tips to keep them comfy: 1. Blink frequently! 🌬️ Blinking moisturizes your eyes naturally, so make a conscious effort to blink more often. 2. Keep 'em lubricated. 💧 Use artificial tears to refresh dry eyes. Consider a humidifier if your environment is dry. 3. Follow the 20-20-20 rule. ⏰ Every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break to look at something 20 feet away. It helps reduce eye fatigue. 4. Consider computer eyeglasses. 👓 Specifically designed for screen use, they can lessen eye strain. 5. Adjust brightness and contrast. 🌞 Match your screen's brightness to your surroundings and tweak contrast to ease strain. 6. Cut the glare. 🕶️ Use a matte screen filter to reduce glare from screens. 7. Mind your posture. 💺 Sit about 25 inches from your screen, slightly gazing downward, to reduce neck and eye strain. Take care of those eyes – they're your windows to the world! 🌟 #WichitaVisionInstitute #EyeWellness #EyeHealth #WorkplaceWellness #EyeErgonomics #EyeCare
