The Resilience Investment, Support, and Expansion (RISE) from Trauma Act builds upon the conclusions published in a 2019 Government Accountability Office report and calls for increased resources and a trauma-informed workforce for communities to support children who have experienced trauma. The RISE from Trauma Act would expand the trauma-informed workforce in schools, health care settings, social services, first responders, and the justice system, and increase resources for communities to address the impact of trauma. https://lnkd.in/ed_eRh4k

Did you know that trauma centers are classified into four levels, each with specific capabilities to handle emergency situations?   Level I centers are equipped with the full spectrum of specialists and resources, offering the pinnacle of trauma care, including research and education. Level II facilities provide comprehensive care, similar to Level I but with some differences in specialist availability. Level III and IV centers are integral for initial stabilization and assessment, guiding patients to the appropriate facility for their needs.
