USAID’s SHOUHARDO III Plus Activity implemented by CARE Bangladesh educated around 2000 (over 50% female) youths as ICT Champions who are socially committed and digitally active. These ICT champions provide app-based services to the poor and extreme poor people in their community because they have less access to smart devices and less digital literacy. These Champions have pre-installed agricultural information-related applications such as 'Krishokher Janala', 'Livestock Diary', 'Fosholi' and more. After training, ICT champions provide voluntary services to the farmers by tailoring their services to meet their unique demands.
