As a #Brisbane office, we are not one to shy away from a challenge and a great cause, especially a challenge that involves a fitness/physical aspect. But for the month of August, I would like to support a fellow colleague Shayne McCorkelle as well at the Children's Hospital Foundation. For the month of August, 42k Your Way, has again set the 42km challenge, where you can complete 42km in a month your own way: walk, run or roll: on your own or with a team of friends or colleagues.    Children's Hospital Foundation funds cutting-edge equipment, vital research and on the ground support for kids with all illnesses, injuries and conditions. They identify the action gaps in funding and support right across the kids; health landscape – the places left lacking but no less serving. The funds raised by taking part or just by donating will be used to support children like Zoey. Every dollar you raise through taking part in 42k Your Way can be the difference every kid deserves. #ChildrensHospitalFoundation #fundraise #support #team #teammembers #cause #change #research #action #future

Our 10th 'Quarter of Caring' is in the books, and it's wonderful to reflect on the incredible impact Apexers made to so many nonprofit orgs! Throughout 2023, between our teams + corporate initiatives: 1.) Hosted 257 #ApexGivesBack events, including volunteering, team fundraisers, drives, and corporate fundraisers/volunteer events 2.) Supported 132 unique nonprofits 3.) Volunteered 5,349 hours 4.) Raised/contributed $189,061 to various orgs 5.) Brought back some #FanFavorite corporate philanthropy events like Gamers vs. Cancer, Earth Month clean-up, Job Search Help roundtables and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer, and introduced several NEW events/campaigns, including Random Acts of Kindness Campaign, Giving Madness, and Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader with many of our Execs #corporatephilanthropy #corporatesocialresponsibility #giveback #community #nonprofitsupport #dotherightthing #heartofApex https://lnkd.in/exdtJt8q
