It's Movember! We want to know: How does your mo grow?〰️ The Movember movement raises money for men’s health issues by challenging participants to "grow a mo" and fundraise during November. The money goes towards research for three major men’s health issues: ~Mental health and suicide prevention; ~prostate cancer, which accounts for 20% of all new cancer cases in men; and ~testicular cancer And there are different ways you can participate. #NationalBreastCancerAwarenessMonth Breast cancer is a reality for 1 in 8 women in the U.S., making it the most common cancer among women worldwide, according to a 2023 report by the American Cancer Society. A woman is diagnosed with breast cancer in the U.S. every two minutes. As you read this, someone is hearing their results and starting their cancer journey. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death for women. But there's hope on the horizon. Over the last decade, we've seen a 7% decrease in breast cancer mortality rates due to early detection and treatment advances. These are not just numbers. They represent our mothers, sisters, daughters, and friends. As leaders in the financial sector, we are uniquely positioned to contribute. Men’s health is in crisis. Men are dying on average 4.5 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons. A growing number of men – around 10.8M globally – are facing life with a prostate cancer diagnosis. Globally, testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men. And across the world, one man dies by suicide every minute of every day, with males accounting for 69% of all suicides. Movember is uniquely placed to address this crisis on a global scale. We fund groundbreaking projects all over the world, engaging men where they are to understand what works best and accelerate change.
