🤔Someone said to me last week “every time I see you, you are always celebrating.” DUH. Yeah of course I am! (And no it doesn’t always involve champagne). 💡I’m always celebrating something. Normally it’s “just a small win” but a win nonetheless. Proven fact: The human brain needs positive feedback. Celebrating the seemingly insignificant wins develops an “addiction to progress” loop that will literally cause your brain to want to more. Self fulfilling prophecy shiz right there ☝️ What celebrating the small (and big) wins looks like: Good day at work? 🎉 My kid learned something new? 🎉 We landed a new client? 🎉 My husband’s Land Rover started first time? 🎉 We signed that brand partnership that we worked so many nights cultivating? 🎉 Someone on our team got promoted? 🎉 We solved a problem that had been a head scratch all week? 🎉 The barista made my coffee to the perfect temperature? 🎉 A friend got good news? 🎉 My dog was waiting to see me when I got home from work? 🎉 I am basically addicted to celebrating and I’m sure it’s the secret sauce to a happy life, a successful career and a positive mindset. 🦄 Dare you to try it for one week. I promise you your whole outlook will go bang (a good bang like a rainbow confetti cannon).

The galas, It was quite an eventful night. I had the moment to catch up with people on meaningful convos. It was also a time to showcase one's aesthetic moves on the dance floor. 🕺💃 I had dart game challenge with a colleague [a fellow soldier in the field in another city]. The major highlight of the night for me was the presentation of awards, while it may seem like a night of fun and entertainment, there's actually a lot of value in gala night hosted by companies. I gained the following insights: 🤳Awarding your staff is an important way to show them that their efforts are valued and appreciated. It's also a great way to motivate them to continue performing at their best. 🤳When employees feel recognized and rewarded for their hard work, they're more likely to feel invested in the company's success and motivated to do their best. 🤳It also help create a positive work culture, where employees feel encouraged and supported. And, of course, the recognition can go a long way towards making your employees feel good about themselves and their contributions. And these can lead to better collaboration, increased productivity, and a stronger sense of teamwork. You need to see the moments I captured below. 😁 Dear Chemical and Allied Products Plc My Kindest Regards for the opportunity. 🙏🏽

HR Executive: Talent @ RCL FOODS | 2023 Rising Star Finalist | Passionate about People, Strategy and Analytics
It’s hard to believe that it has been almost a year since I stepped into this incredible journey as a Talent Executive at RCL FOODS. I want to take a moment to express my deep gratitude to the organization for entrusting me with this role and to my amazing team for embracing and trusting the process. Here are a few lessons I’ve learned along the way: 1. The Journey is the Destination: In the fast-paced world of talent management, it’s easy to get caught up in chasing goals and numbers. But I’ve come to realize that the journey itself, the people we meet, the challenges we overcome, and the personal growth we experience are just as, if not more, rewarding. 2. Going Slow to Go Fast: In our quest for success, we often rush decisions and strategies. However, sometimes, taking a step back, analyzing, and strategizing more thoroughly can lead to better, more sustainable results in the long run. 3. Back to Fundamentals: It’s easy to get lost in the latest trends and technologies, but the core fundamentals of talent management, such as effective communication, building strong relationships, and understanding individual needs, remain as important as ever. I look forward to another year of growth, learning, and collaboration with this remarkable team. Thank you for being a part of this incredible journey. Here’s to the future! 🚀 #Anniversary #TalentManagement #Gratitude Justine Chetty Tamara Dickson Reabetswe Tsoaeli Chandinee Govender Masiwa Simoloka Stacey Mcallister Sphume Makhaye Ashmeka R Lucinda Kenny Tiffany Saminathan

HR Evolutionist with a Gen Z Perspective: Building engaging cultures while embracing change one step at a time.
Celebrating Milestones and Building Bonds While I was an Account Manager at PESABAZAAR.com, the GM Daisy Marindany and I were able to initiate 2 new traditions: 1. Monthly birthday celebrations and cake cutting at the office. Every last Friday of the month, we would play games that allowed us to know each other in the office space as we celebrated the 'babies' of that month. 2. Recognizing the fantastic colleagues who had been with the company for more than 5 years. It might seem small, but I believe it was the beginning of something truly special. These moments aren't merely about cake; they're about fostering a culture of appreciation and connection within the team. It was about honouring the hard work, dedication, and commitment that each member brings to the table. By acknowledging these milestones, we were not just marking time; we were building relationships and nurturing an environment where every team member feels valued and seen. As a HR, I believe it's the small beginnings that pave the way for great things ahead. I carry these lessons with me, and I am looking forward to continuing to celebrate achievements and milestones as I grow. #TeamBuilding #EmployeeRecognition #MilestoneMoments #CompanyCulture #AppreciationAtWork

After 14 years + 2 days of marriage, here's my best advice: Find a partner who makes you a better person. From the beginning of our marriage, Judson's sense of adventure and endless encouragement led me down the most incredible path. Here's a list of things I would have never done without him in my life: 1. Complete 2 sprint triathlons 2. Overcome my fear of open-water swimming (discovered this while training for #1 😂 ) 3. Complete a Century Ride 4. Camp in a tent for more than 1 night 5. Leave my corporate job after 13 years 6. Eat Chick-fil-A more than once a week 7. Jump off a cliff into a waterfall 8. Change thousands of dirty diapers for 3 kids 9. Learn the joy of a good whiteboard session 10. Launch my own business 11. Develop a personal relationship with God Can't wait to see what we accomplish in the next 14! 😁 #advice
I don't typically celebrate the personal aspects of my life publicly but I wanted to say Happy 14th Anniversary to my amazing wife Katie Armentrout (D/E). She is the best partner, adventure buddy, and encourager that I could hope for. Being together on the journey from 2 corporate jobs to being a 2 start-up household has more than its share of ups & downs. Thank you for your love and support each & every day. I'm excited at the possibilities in front of us!

Celebrating your wins is imperative to a healthy workplace. If you don't take time to celebrate, going the extra mile doesn't mean as much to your team. How are you celebrating wins on your team?

Helping Colleges/Universities/Schools support and empower students to achieve academic success through the use of assistive technology.
You know how the place you work has core values? When I moved to Team Lead I wanted to create for values just for me. Celebrate all the wins! 🎉🥳 So often teams forget to celebrate the wins or only celebrate “big wins” every win is a big win! When I talk about celebrating it not about about awarding a voucher to Nando’s, free coffee or a bloody pizza party. It about honest and heart felt celebration for the win. If that means dancing we will dance! I will always be the most embarrassing one. 🤗🤭 This is something I use in my personal life as well. I have always sort to be the embarrassment. Growing up my favourite thing was when someone said “oh Scott” and shook there head with a mild grin, it still is my favourite thing. If I’m the most embarrassing person in the room it gives everyone else’s space to freely be themselves knowing that at they won’t be the most embarrassing person there. Go have fun 🤪🤩 I can’t remember the last time I left a meeting with my team where I haven’t said “have fun” because it should be fun. If you are not having fun, let’s find away to make it fun for you. We spend too much time of our lives working for it to not be fun. Also something very exciting!!! We are hiring, so if you are interested in celebrating the wins, getting to be yourself, finding the fun in your work and helping to support students be the best they can be. Here are four ways we cultivate culture here at Sudburys! · Celebrating our work anniversary: This is a dedicated time to recognise the contributions of each team member. · We have 90-day reviews: A safe place to provide feedback and support and a place to talk about growth and development. · Weekly ½ hour team meetings: Time to align our goals for the week, communicate effectively, and ensure everyone feels heard and valued. · An annual team day: A day once a year dedicated to fostering camaraderie, relationship building, and where to from here. As Nikita Tomlinson says "Culture is a bit like sport success – it doesn’t happen overnight, and it takes practice, practice, practice." Every day we come to work is a continuation of practicing our core values which sets the tone for our culture but man is it worth it. We are so proud of our team and the culture here at Sudburys.

As this marks the momentous occasion – the one-year anniversary of our incredible journey together, Reflecting on this eventful year fills me with immense gratitude for our exceptional team, valued clients, and incredible supporters. Our collective efforts have propelled Evolve to new heights, and I am truly grateful for each and every one of you who has contributed to our success. On this occasion, I had the privilege to convey my gratitude to my esteemed team members. I presented each of them with a heartfelt gift as a gesture of appreciation which is the least I could do to express my gratitude. In the fast-paced world of teamwork, it's easy to get caught up in the rush of tasks, deadlines, and objectives. However, amidst the hustle and bustle, let's not forget the invaluable power of appreciation and gratitude within our teams. 🤝 Let's make it a priority to celebrate the achievements, big and small, of our team members. Whether it's a simple thank-you note, a public shoutout, or a team appreciation event, let's show gratitude for the dedication and hard work that each member brings to the table. Together, we can create a culture where appreciation thrives, and success knows no bounds! 🌟💼 #Teamwork #Appreciation #Gratitude #Success #Culture #teamappreciation #teamcollaboration
