Reflect on whether they exemplify stewardship of this land, whether they are part of the violence inflicted on this land (figuratively and literally), whether they support the continued colonization and violence through what they support and don't support, their behaviours, and their performativity on days like today. What are you genuinely and authentically doing in regards to #TruthAndReconciliation and #CallsForJustice re: #MMIWG? Having access to Indigenous people you call colleagues, friends, etc... is superficial until your actions speak. Hope people spend time today, and every day, to support Indigenous led events, businesses, and movements.
