It’s now or never. 🎶 #wednesdaywisdom On today’s date, in 1977, Elvis Presley performed for the last time. The legendary singer performed at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana, in what would become his last performance While we shouldn’t live in fear about missing opportunities, today’s history factoid offers a great reminder to sieze (and enjoy) the opportunities you have when you have them. For those of us in sales, that moment is upon us this week: we can embrace every opportunity as if it's our last. Channel the urgency of Elvis Presley's timeless lyric, "It's now or never." Don't wait for a better time or the perfect conditions; the perfect moment is now. We can take decisive action, engage with our clients passionately, and close those deals with unwavering determination. Success can hinge on the ability to act swiftly and seize the moment. #thisdayinhistory #endofthequarter #motivation #sales

💕Loving all the plaudits for Miley Cyrus after her 2024 Grammys performance.💕 It got me thinking, can we look at Miley’s journey in the music industry in the same light as many of us have been through as recruiters? 1. The new hire - bright, bushy tailed, makes a great impression, gets some early billings on the board and is one to watch. 2. The middle phase! Picks up some bad habits and tries to go against the grain. Looks to forego the rules (KPIs, skipping parts of the process, goes to work after a few nights out!!) does ok, but hasn’t carved out a long term career as yet. 3. Realises that processes allow you to work smarter, not harder. Combines their unique personality, experience and knowledge with a proven formula for success. Becomes THE consultant, the one everyone wants to listen to in team meetings and everyone wants to emulate on the leaders board. ⭐️Some get there quicker than others (it’s taken Miley 15 years to win a Grammy!) but stick to it long enough, learn from your mistakes, and master the process behind the personality, and you too could be in your flowers era!⭐️ Think about it - which Miley phase are you currently in? 🎙️

When we talk about personal #brand and how it can elevate or crater your career, what Kendrick Lamar has done is a #masterclass. Take note. https://lnkd.in/e3a2FTMA
It’s #TalkToMeThursday and let’s talk K.Dot. I have so many thoughts about last night’s Juneteenth concert, “The Pop Out: Ken & Friends” but here are my top 3. It is my belief that we as business leaders can all learn something from the brilliance that was displayed last night. 1) It was MARKETING BRILLIANCE. Kendrick sold out Kia Forum, invited a bunch of his friends and did it for the culture. He even partnered with Amazon Prime Video to livestream to the world. 2) It was CREATIVE BRILLIANCE. The set list was crazy, and the fact that he closed with “Not Like Us” FIVE TIMES tells you all you need to know. And, despite doing a whole diss track set list, the message was about UNITY. 3) It was COMPETITIVE BRILLIANCE. In a world where there’s a constant battle for market share and saturation at every turn, standing out is really, really hard. What Kendrick Lamar pulled off was masterful and embodied precisely why he said there’s no big three, “it’s just big me.” #Leadership #Competition #Marketing #Creativity #Business #Juneteenth #Freedom #Music

UNIQUE JOURNEY + LUCK = OUR OWN STORY In business, much like in life, we each have our unique journey and our share of luck. Taylor Swift's story beautifully illustrates this. The first photo shows a time when her concerts weren't selling out, while the second photo captures her performing to a sold-out crowd. Taylor's journey to success wasn't instant. It took relentless dedication, continuous improvement, and an unshakable belief in her vision. Her story reminds us that success is often a mix of hard work and fortunate timing. In our own business endeavors, we may face challenges and moments of doubt. But it's essential to keep pushing forward, stay true to our goals, and seize opportunities as they come. Remember, every setback is a setup for a comeback. #BusinessJourney #Perseverance #NeverGiveUp #Success #TaylorSwift #Inspiration Learn more on what I do at www.redcircleglobal.com Connect with me at ceo@redcircleglobal.com

I am an Advisor, a Brand Builder, a Marketer, a Generator of Revenue, a Producer of Profits, and a Provoker of Thoughts. I am an Enabler of Big Ideas and Ideal Experiences. (I'm also a massive cult brand enthusiast!)
I'd be remiss not to acknowledge the passing of an incredible musician, an amazing artist, a great human, and a remarkable cult brand // cult band leader. What Jimmy Buffet accomplished with his career, and the way he nurtured his fan engagement, is legendary. We can all learn a lot from the mastery of his craft, and his business. Here's a link to one author's POV that resonated with me: https://lnkd.in/gNHCC4kw

Thrilled to announce that our upcoming book 'DECOLONIZING THE THEATRE SPACE. A CONVERSATION' is now available to pre-order!!! This book is the ultimate leadership book for Black leaders in the arts industry!!! Please support us by ordering your copy TODAY!!! Here's a little taste of what 'Decolonizing the Theatre Space. A Conversation' is about: 2020 was a year in which global politics radically shifted, catalyzed by the Covid-19 pandemic and the #BlackLivesMatter movement. This book is a response to that year, asking was it a moment or is it a movement and what fundamental changes within the arts industry need to come out of this time? The book includes 20 interviews with some of the most pioneering black cultural leaders from a wide range of senior executive positions in the arts within the UK, US and Africa. It documents the sea of change in arts leadership post the height of the #BlackLivesMatter movement, the pressure on organizations to confront and change their racial and ethnic make-up, and shines a light on the guiding ambitions, strategic plans and visions for the future to support the ongoing decolonization of arts organizations across the world. Learn from those who have walked the walk to support your vision for the future. https://lnkd.in/gj743_pD #DecolonizingtheTheatreSpaceAConversation #Decolonizing #blackleadership #bloomsburypublishing

I’ve been digging into the essence of what I represent and offer to clients this week. I started to think if I produced an album, what the essential songs would be. What would be your top tracks? What are the soundtracks of your essence? What do your choices reveal about what really matters to you? #Leadership #Awareness #Identity #Essence #intentionalleadership
