American Airlines had the incredible honor of flying nearly 70 World War II veterans to Normandy for the 80th anniversary of D-Day.🎖️ It was a heartfelt tribute to the brave men and women who fought for our freedom. We are proud to provide these veterans with an opportunity to honor the fallen and pay homage to their bravery. https://bit.ly/3Xl0DII #DDay80thAnniversary
We can’t do enough for our Vet’s, but this is a good start.
Thank you American Airlines for assisting our veterans for the 80th anniversary of D-Day in Normandy. Proud of the tribute and continued contribution that proves that an airline provides more than just transportation. It links people with their memories. As a former airline industry professional, I recognize the cooperation and coordination required to achieve exemplary service. Hat's off to your team.
Unfathomable courage, bravery and commitment by this greatest generation of heroes, who at a very young age, faced an enemy that certainly had its sites set on a world that is opposite of the freedom and prosperity. Thanks is not enough. We all must all act, by continuing to carry the torch of freedom, for which our heroes fought and sacrificed - many making the ultimate sacrifice. Thanks to Randall Stillinger and staff, along with many AA volunteers and leaders who supported this complex, but so worthy effort to honor and remember our WW2 heroes. #ProudtobeAmerican
Soon, the men and women of the “greatest generation” will all be gone. This Country will never again see a group of dedicated patriots like them… A moment in history, never to be equaled. My Dad was one of them. God bless them all.
Funny...I think American followed unlawful orders forcing its flying passengers to undergo a medical intervention while flying. They also followed an unlawful order to have its most precious assets -- their pilots -- injected with an experimental needle contrary to federal law and FAA guidelines. Is that what these veterans fought for?
I urgently need assistance from a senior manager in customer relations with a matter that has been unresolved for three months, despite its critical nature due to a bereavement-related travel requirement. It is disheartening to resort to a LinkedIn post to seek resolution. Please contact me as soon as possible at serene.tnae10@gmail.com. Thank you.
A touching tribute to our heroes.
This an incredible show of support and respect for the veterans and what they and their brothers and sisters so bravely achieved so many years ago. It is a privilege to work with American Airlines.
Thanks so much American Airlines for honoring our great Warriors! #wardogcoffee
