There are much more important, evidence-based measures that can be used to evaluate the performance of an EMS system; such as, compliance with medical director approved clinical bundles of care, EMS vehicle crashes, and patient experience scores. EMS Systems, and the communities they serve, would be much better off evaluating EMS performance based on metrics that matter!
