I launched patented on-board #algorithms on #Ford and #Lincoln vehicles (first released on #F150 #Lightning) to do accident detection and classification using existing in-vehicle control and dynamics CAN signals with low-computation overhead. No need for fancy #sensors. A lot can be done with existing sensors as long as one is willing to #innovate. But with added #AutonomousVehicles and #ADAS sensors it’s only going to get better.
