Meet our Art director, Kateryna! She ignites the team with her infectious energy during working days. Her enthusiasm is boundless, and her vibrant personality radiates positivity, making her a powerhouse of motivation. Curious to learn more about our art director? Read a brief interview where she shares insights! Ann: Could you tell us more about your architectural visualization journey? Kateryna: If we focus on the CUUB studio itself, it's truly a magical story akin to coaches of successful success, where you attract reality with your thoughts. I was on vacation at my previous studio, intending to find another job. I had a clear vision of the working conditions I desired and the kind of team I wanted to work with. That was enough because CUUB contacted me, offered an interview, and on the same day, we agreed on a trial period, which fortunately was successful. And here I am - in the studio of my dreams and fantasies. But let's look at it more broadly. My path is quite ordinary: art school in childhood, higher education in architecture, internships as a designer, extensive work as an interior designer both in studios and independently, burnout, and the realization that constant communication with contractors, foremen, and clients 25/8 is not for me, leading to the understanding that I needed to change direction. Ann: What key skills and abilities do you consider most important for an art director in our field? Kateryna: In terms of hard skills, it's knowledge and a sense of harmony, composition, and color. In my profession, I also consider it important to be able to not compromise when it comes to beauty. Ann: What are your main sources of inspiration and how do they influence your workflow? Kateryna: Oh, actually, this source has no beginning or end because beauty is everywhere: it's sunsets, the color of the sea, well-falling light, beautiful shots in movies, couture, painting, my apartment, and of course, Pinterest, architectural studios, etc. In other words, I try to say that beauty is beauty, and it can manifest itself anywhere, and the ability to notice it is already halfway there because this way, mundane things become inspiring, and eyes and brains begin to involuntarily create harmony, beauty, and balance around them. Ann: Tell us about the most interesting recent project for you. What made it memorable? Kateryna: Shed House was quite creative and free in decision-making. Overall, I like all projects where there are no rigid statements of work in the brief. Ann: What advice would you give to young artists, directors, or just people who dream of working in the field of architecture? Kate: Arm yourself with patience, analyze more often what I'm good at and where my weaknesses lie, constantly look at recognized works, even if you don't understand anything about them first, and always ask yourself - will this work? Because in my humble opinion, aesthetics come from ergonomics. #CUUB #CUUBstudio #Interview #MeetTheTeam

So it's time to say it. Finally, I am totally open to work and searching for job in the field of visualization! It was an amazing 2.5 years at Dansani A/S I became acquainted with Danish working culture, and I must say, Dansani is the best company ever to work for! Dansani not only produces classical Danish furniture designs of perfect quality but also has a very high level of employee care. Unfortunately, due to reasons beyond our control (both Dansani and myself), we had to part ways. After my internship at Dansani ended in February, I needed some time to recharge, perhaps take a break and reflect on everything that was happening. But already at that time had the idea that I would like to try myself as a 3D artist and set aside my "technical designer" career. Since February, I have been working on my portfolio, exploring my opportunities in 3D. I am truly amazed by the opportunities that lie ahead of me in this field. The technical possibilities of 3D are incredible! I feel much more confident in using software, and the same goes for my artistic vision: the time I spent studying and researching interior design in the past few years is definitely paying off. I am much more confident with composition, and I already have ideas in my mind before I even start working on a composition. Moreover, I firmly believe that without being immersed in artistic expression, my life would lack the deep satisfaction and clear sense of direction that creativity brings. The act of creating, especially through visual arts like 3D visualization, awakens a strong passion within me that fuels my desire for discovery, constant improvement of my skills, and the continuous exploration of creative boundaries. This passion goes beyond mere professional ambitions; it is a fundamental part of who I am, shaping my identity and adding depth and purpose to every step of my journey. Below you can see my latest visualization. #opentowork #visualization #3Dartist #CareerTransition #NewBeginnings #CreativeJourney #ArtisticExpression #DesignInspiration #PassionForCreativity #ProfessionalGrowth #CareerDevelopment #ArtAndDesign #LinkedInPost #CreativeMindset #CareerChange #PortfolioBuilding #VisualArts #DesignIndustry #ArtisticVision #WorkLifeBalance

When (and Why) You Better Hire a Boutique 3D Studio Instead of a Fancy Bureau Next time you will decide between a massive bureau or a nimble boutique team for your 3D rendering needs, make sure you took all factors into the consideration. 1️⃣ Tailored Solution Boutique studios offer personalized solutions crafted to your specific needs. Unlike larger bureaus, we take the time to understand your project intimately, ensuring a unique and tailor-made visual experience. 2️⃣ Agility in Action In the fast-paced world of design and visualization, agility is key. Boutique studios, with their streamlined processes, often outmaneuver larger counterparts, providing quicker turnaround times without compromising on quality. In short, less bureaucracy, more action. If you’re in a hurry, better call small guys. 3️⃣ Cost-Effective Excellence Opting for a boutique 3D studio doesn't mean sacrificing quality for cost. In fact, it's quite the opposite. We offer a cost-effective approach, maximizing the value you receive for every dollar invested. 4️⃣ Collaborative Partnership At a boutique studio, you're not just a client; you're a collaborator. We believe in fostering strong partnerships, ensuring that your vision is not only understood but seamlessly translated into stunning 3D renders. 5️⃣ Innovation and Specialization Boutique studios often pride themselves on innovation and specialization. Our team is dedicated to staying at the forefront of industry trends, bringing the latest techniques and technologies to elevate your projects (check my previous post). 6️⃣ Actual Attention to Details When it comes to attention to what you’re expecting at the end, small teams are way (waaaaay) better choice. Sounds like a paradox, but they have more at stake, than already established company with 100s employees. At least, we do, and that’s why we go extra-mile on every project and try our best at doing exactly what you expect, plus a little bit more. So, when it comes to 3D rendering, think beyond the glitz of a fancy bureau. Consider the personalized touch, efficiency, and collaborative spirit that a boutique 3D studio like ours can bring to your vision. Ready to unlock the full potential of your projects? Let's talk! 💡✨

Perspective in the field of visualization? 🤔 Perspective is certainly not a fixed point of view but a dynamic tool that can and should be skillfully employed to find the optimal representation of your countryside villa or interior. In the arsenal of a 3D artist perspective takes precedence, wielding the power to endow elements with varying degrees of significance. Scenes come to life through the meticulous adjustment of perspective. Perspective not only highlights the magnificence of the object but also defines the very essence of visual storytelling. Through perspective artists direct the viewer's gaze immersing them in a virtual landscape that evokes emotions. The quest for the perfect perspective is not merely a technical endeavor but a creative pursuit in which each detail unveils new possibilities. Dear LinkedIn Network, I hope this message finds you well! As an Industrial Designer with 4 years of experience, I am on a journey to explore new opportunities and expand my horizons in the world of design. About Me: I have a strong foundation in packaging design and a deep passion for sustainability. In fact, I had the privilege of spearheading a plastic-free blister pack campaign for Eva NYC and Costco, aligning their packaging with their brand philosophy. Additionally, I've built an extensive 3D library encompassing all packaging types utilized by Eva NYC, not only for internal use but also as a valuable resource in our campaign assets. My Aspirations: While I have excelled in packaging design, I am eager to broaden my design portfolio. I am particularly interested in venturing into the world of luxury goods, with a focus on 3D design. Whether it's crafting beautiful packaging for luxury beauty brands or diving into the realm of home goods, such as furniture and housewares, I am open to the creative challenges that lie ahead. Work Preferences: I thrive in a collaborative work environment where I can learn, grow, and work closely with my colleagues and mentors. I believe in the value of ongoing learning and development, and I'm seeking a role where I can contribute my skills and knowledge while also expanding my expertise. I'm looking for a hybrid work arrangement in the NYC area, with the potential for fully in-person collaboration when the fit is right. Skills and Passion: My design toolbox includes proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Fusion 360, Solidworks, and Keyshot. I'm deeply passionate about sustainability and possess an extensive understanding of materials and manufacturing processes. My Goal: My ultimate goal is to create designs that I am truly proud of and to make a lasting impact within a company that values growth, innovation, and creativity. Principal Industrial Designer - Project Manager | Driving innovation through strategic design leadership.
As companies worldwide reduce their creative teams, it's evident that finding your next career move isn't easy, whether you're new to the field or experienced. This is especially challenging for Physical Product Designers, whose skills often take a backseat to digital roles. Inspired by Anson Cheung 's successful #JustIdJobs project in the US, I thought, why not do something similar in Europe? It's a simple and spontaneous task where the main aim is to filter available #industrialdesignjobs across Studios/Agencies/Corporates, making it easier for the network to navigate job offers. Here's a quick selection of the latest openings. I'll try to do this periodically, and hopefully, it will help some creatives find the job they're passionate about more easily.
