ABOUT VITALIEF

Vitalief is an innovative Healthcare consulting company, focused on empowering Research and transforming Clinical Trials. Vitalief focuses on identifying and recommending innovative ways of delivering services to our clients by providing Management Consulting, Resourcing (staff augmentation), and Managed Services (outsourcing) solutions that enable our clients to solve their workforce challenges and deliver excellent services.


We are currently seeking a Workforce Strategy Consultant to work closely with Vitalief’s Senior Delivery Team as we engage with our client, a healthcare provider that employees over 1,000 resources and services several thousand patients in about one dozen facilities within the USA. Our client has struggled with hiring and retaining resources, and Vitalief has been tasked to investigate, assess and recommend innovative solutions (and programs) to remediate our clients workforce challenges.


Duration: The initial engagement (assessment) is approximately two months – and is not a full 40 hours per week. There is possible extension if our client agrees to implement our recommendations.


Hourly Pay Rate: - depends on experience level – this resource would be sub-contracting through Vitalief.


Work Location: This is primarily a remote position, with the potential for an on-site meeting with Vitalief’s leadership team in King of Prussia, PA. We are seeking a resource that lives in the EST or CST Zone.


Responsibilities:

  • Function as the lead consultant for the workforce assessment engagement, which includes the following: Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration Vitalief’s senior management and our client; ensuring the highest standards of excellence in project delivery.
  • Oversee project budget, resource allocation, and risk management to ensure assessment completed on time and within budget.
  • Utilize your workforce solutioning expertise to overcome present-day challenges, incorporating emerging solutions (e.g. career pathways, skills gaps, apprenticeship [partnering with educational institutions], skills-based hiring), and investigating other viable alternatives such as employing foreign skilled resources in the USA, the potential for implementing a hybrid work model, and tele-health solutions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance service delivery effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on project progress to stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality consulting services that meet or exceed client expectations and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews and assessments of project deliverables to ensure alignment with client objectives and best practices.


Required Skills:

  • 15 or more years of providing consulting/advisory services to clients with deep industry knowledge to develop innovative strategies, transform business models, and deliver cutting-edge capabilities to activate value and drive change across the organization.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Business Management, Organizational Development or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and delivering high-quality deliverables for strategy, enterprise-wide transformation, and/or innovation projects.
  • Strong grasp of key workforce development concepts, present-day challenges, and emerging solutions (e.g. career pathways, skills gaps, apprenticeship, skills-based hiring).
  • Strong executive presence, presentation skills, excellent negotiations skills, and ability to overcome obstacles and objections with confidence. Ability to influence stakeholders to think “out-of-the-box” by recommending innovative solutions.
  • Strong relationship building skills, and with ability to foster collaboration among diverse teams and stakeholders to gain consensus and drive toward common solutions.
  • Effectively provide coaching to senior executives on how to identify the benefit realization, value creation, points of resistance, and how to build advocacy for change.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing, sitting, walking, visual perception, talking and hearing. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Lifting up to 20 pounds. Ability to travel on occasion to the Greater Philadelphia area.
