This Manufacturing engineer role is to support fabrication process in factory with shift support primarily on 1st or 3rd shift as needed. This role is 100% ONSITE at the factory.
Required Attributes
Previous full time work experience of minimum 2 years as a Welding / fabrication, manufacturing engineer
Working knowledge of Auto CAD and Creo [Pro-E]
Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing [GD&T], blueprint reading, welding symbols, and tooling and fixture
Working knowledge of welding process [TIG, MIG] and fabrication process for heavy equipment
Time Study, capacity planning, labor planning
Working experience with problem solving, A3 framework, and Root Cause Corrective Action [RCCA]
Experience with PFMEA (Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis), Control Plan and Safety Failure Mode Effects Analysis [SFMEA]
Knowledge of programming with Robot or Cobot weld with ability to create, edit, trouble shoot issues
Able to work in factory environment
Splendid work ethic with positive attitude and technical communication ability
